I'm sure of that. The weirder cut-up stuff from Chrome also, and the first (instrumental? I've never heard it) album by DAF - Ein Produkt, or whatever it's called. No surprises that the more 'commercial' songs won out in this round. They're all top toons.

not only did you have to 'place coin here if flexible record slips', you also had to play it on top of another single - too much fun! didn't actually mind the 13th f.e. track but 'hurricane...' is killer - apparently mayo thompson wanted to 'punk' it up a bit!

I've never heard it either, Tim. I'm guessing that it's maybe a bit too experimental for my taste. And don't think I could cope with a whole album without some of their usual vocals, yes, it is instrumental. Cheers, Helen. My first exposure to DAF was on Earcom 3 (Ich und die Werklichkeit) when they were still a 3-piece. I still prefer that version to the re-recorded song. :-)
