AdrienShe tells me it is a family recipe and winks at me. She chuckles and teases that you gotta love a man who can cook. "Hey I wish. Bea does most of the cooking but I help out from time to time with the basic stuff." I tell her.
Bea
He smiles and tell me I of all people deserve kindness. He wipes my tears away and kisses my forehead. I nod softly and wipe my face a little to get rid of the rest of the tears.
"Should we continue shopping?" I say not wanting to keep him out all day. I am sure he has work to be doing.
Minnie"Well maybe I can teach you a few things." I told him smiling softly at him. "Desserts and smoked meats are my favorites." I sighed happily.
Luca
"Of course Bea. Then we can go meet Jamie and Echo for lunch after that we can go home or look around. It's up to you." I said softly.
AdrienShe tells me that maybe she can teach me a few things and that desserts and smoked meats are her favorite things. I smile as she sighs happily. "Yeah, I would like that a lot." I tell her.
Bea
He tells me of course and that we could meet up with his brother and Echo for lunch and after we can go home or look around some more.
"I think we can go home after that. I don't think I need anything else." I say. "Oh and pick up my locket from the jeweler."
MinnieI smiled at him. "Great." I said smiling. I got the garlic butter from the fridge giving him the butter before I put them on the draining rack.
Luca
"Of course." I said smiling softly. We got her the clothes she wanted and met my brother at a little dive that we usually went to. Jamie and Echo were relaxed together on one side of the booth.
AdrienShe smiles and says great as she continues preparing lunch for us. I watch her once I finish up the toast. She really was quite graceful when she cooked.
Bea
He smiles saying of course. We finish up shopping and meet up with his brother and Echo at a little diner. They looked happy together sitting in the booth. If he truly cared for her then I was happy for her. I hoped he was as kind hearted as his brother.
MinnieI felt him watching me and I glanced over and smiled at him. "See something you like?" I flirted batting my eyes.
Echo
I hummed softly as I relaxed back against his chest. If warmth was soothing. I smiled. "I think you brother and Bea are here." I said softly hearing two people coming towards us.
AdrienShe glances over and asks if I see something I like. "Just thinking you are pretty graceful when you cook." I tell her with a chuckle as I put the finished toast on a plate.
Jamie
She hums as she relaxes in my arms and then says that she thinks Luca and Bea are here. I glance up and sure enough they are walking over to us. "Yep, it's them." I tell her. I nuzzle her hair softly with a smile.
I raise an eyebrow noticing Luca's girl was giving off a faint scent I didn't pick up before. Not his but something else. Almost like a wolf... but she couldn't be a werewolf too. I mean they would have picked up on that at the auction house. Heck we should have picked it up by now.
MinnieI chuckled softly. "Thank you Adrian" I said smiling softly waiting for the oil to heat back up.
Luca
I noticed Jamie's raised eyebrow and subtly shook my head. Letting him know I would explain when we got home. When Bea went to put her clothes away.
Echo
I hummed softly as he ran his fingers through my hair closing my eyes. I leaned against him.
AdrienShe chuckles and says thank you with a smile. I smile and go back watch her cook.
Bea
I sit down in the booth and grab one of the menus to look over. Echo hums as Jamie runs his fingers through her hair. She looked content. I was happy that she could be at ease with him.
I notice the brothers share a look over something. I wonder what.
MinnieI smiled to myself as I put the next batch in. I looked over at him and offered him a peice that was cooled and finished.
Echo
I smiled. "Hi Bea, did you have a good time shopping?" I asked her curious. Smiling softly over at her.
AdrienShe puts in the next batch and offers me a piece that had already cooled. "Thanks." I say taking it and popping it in my mouth. "Mmm this is pretty good."
Bea
"Oh it was good. I got a few things that will work." I tell her with a soft smile. "Did you get your stuff that you wanted?" I ask her.
Minnie"Thank you." I chuckled softly. I smiled at him taking a peice of toast as I nibbled on it. I hummed and smiled at him. "Pretty good." I told him.
Echo
"Good," I said smiling. I nodded. "I did I got my iPod that has my audio books and my cane." I told her smiling softly. "My clothes too of course." I said chuckled softly.
AdrienShe chuckles and says thank you. She takes one of the pieces of toast and nibbles on it. She hums and smiles saying it was pretty good. "Glad you like it." I tell her with a smile.
Bea
She tells me that she got her stuff she needed and of course her clothes. "That's great." I tell her glad she got her stuff. I know it feels a lot better to have your stuff.
EchoI smiled at her and nodded. "It is." I said smiling softly. "I'm glad you had a good time shopping Bea." I told her smiling softly. "You deserve to have a me day." I said smiling softly.
Minnie.
I grinned and finished up the last batch. "You want anything else Adrian?" I asked smiling softly.
BeaShe smiles and nods saying that she is glad I had a good time shopping. That I deserve to have a me day. "Yea, I'm glad to too." I tell her as I look at the menu.
Adrien
"Oh no I think you have made enough for us." I tell her as she finishes up the last batch.
EchoI rested my head on Jamie's shoulder. "What's good here beast?" I teased my lover as I relaxed against him.
Luca
I smiled softly. This was the first time in a while I had seen my brother truly happy with a girl.
JamieShe rests her head on my shoulder and teases me asking what is good here. "Mmm lots of things but I know what is the best, little fruit bat." I tease nipping at her ear. "You can't go wrong with a burger though."
Bea
I blush a little seeing how cuddly those two were. I mean in all honestly Luca and I were definitely more then strangers at this point but I couldn't really put a label on what we were. We weren't friends, but we were lovers despite those intimate things we had done.
EchoI chuckled softly blushing a little as he nipped my ear. He told me the burger was good though. "Hmm I'll have that...but living up to my nickname. I think I want a banana later." I purred quietly so Bea wouldn't hear.
Luca
I cleared my throat to remind those two that they did have company. I noticed Bea blushing slightly and smiled slightly she was adorable.
JamieShe chuckles and blushes a little. She says she'll have a burger but living up to her nickname she thinks she wants a banana later. I chuckle and whisper in her ear. "Mmm you can have my 'banana' later if you want." I wink and pull away a little as my brother clears his throat.
"Yea, yea. We'll behave. Won't hurt you to be more cuddly with your girl." I tease him.
Bea
I blush even more as Jamie addresses me as his brother's girl. "I'm not... we're not like that." I say shyly a little embarrassed. He was my new boss. Nothing more, I couldn't let it be anything more then that. I couldn't risk things not working out when he was helping my brother and I out so much.
EchoI chuckled softly grinning. "What banana do you think I was talking about?" I teased quietly blushing slightly as his brother cleared his throat.
I tilted my head as Bea explained they weren't like that. I raised an eyebrow at her.
Luca
"We're just ..co-workers Jamie mind your own." I told my brother shaking my head. I didn't know what we were but she didn't want to get closer...
Bea I blush as Echo gives me a little look and Luca tries to tell his twin we are just co workers. I bite my lip and look away. How embarrassing this was. I mean it wasn't like I didn't want him. Heck my body was begging for him to touch me, to feel that pleasure again. But I couldn't risk it.
I shift a little feeling uncomfortably warm and embarrassed. "So is everyone ready to order?" I ask changing the subject.
Jamie
Jeez those two are so clueless. I swear you could tell from a mile away that they both wanted each other. I mean damn you could practically smell Bea's need and desire for my brother.
She changes the subject and I roll my eyes a little. "Yea, I think I am good. What about you, fruit bat?" I ask Echo.
EchoI hummed. "I am." I told him smiling softly. "Could you order for me though? I was hoping Bea wouldn't mind helping me find the ladies room." I said smiling apologetically in Bea's direction. Plus it gave us an excuse for some privacy.
Luca
I shook my head slightly great someone as meddle some as my twin. I ran a hand through my hair. I wanted Bea so bad...but with her fear of wolves...it wouldn't work.
BeaEcho asks Jamie to order for her since she was hoping I would help her find the ladies room. She gives me an apologetically smile. "Oh of course. It's no problem." I say getting up to help her there.
Jamie
I wait for the girls to make their way to the bathroom before I look at my twin. "What is going on with you two? I mean I can see the want radiating off you two." I say trying to figure out why he wasn't going for it. I mean she was the first girl I had ever seen him this interested in.
Luca"Jamie," I said softly. "Her parents...were killed by a wolf, I think it was one of us. She's terrified of wolves and she's afraid.that if she let's me get to close and things don't work out I'll take back all the help I'm giving her and her brother." I told him softly. "But she drives me and my wolf wild. We want her." I told him running a hand through my hair frustrated.
Echo
"Thank you." I said smiling softly. "Down side of being blind." I said chuckling softly. We got to the bathroom. "Can I ask you something?" I asked her softly.
JamieHe explains to me about her parents who were killed by a wolf and how he thinks it was one of us. How she was terrified of wolves and she is afraid of him taking away his help if things didn't work out between them.
He sigh running a hand through his hair as he tells me she drives him and his wolf wild and that they want her. "If her parents were killed by one of us... it could have bitten her. I smelled a wolf earlier. It wasn't mine or yours and it was very faint. Her fear could have repressed the change." I tell him.
Bea
"It's no problem. Really I'm glad to help out." I tell her as she thanks me for helping her to the bathroom. I feel bad. She was so nice and it was a shame about her sight. She asks me if she can ask me about something.
"Um sure. What do you want to ask?" I ask her.
LucaI tilted my head. "I didn't notice before but....if she was wouldn't she still change on the full moon?" I asked him softly.
Echo
"Why are you so resistant to Luca?" I asked softly. "Is he treating you badly?" I asked with a touch of protectiveness.
JamieHe tilts his head and points out that wouldn't she have changed on the full moon. "Maybe she has and doesn't remember. If she isn't in touch with her wolf then it would have taken over during the full moon and she wouldn't have any memories of it. Or maybe she is blocking the memories due to her fear."
Bea
She asks me why I am so resistant to Luca and if he was treating me badly. I wave my hands shaking my head forgetting she can't see that.
"Oh no. He has been really kind to me... I just... I don't want to risk blurring the lines here. If we get... involved then I worry that he might take back his help if we don't work out. I can't risk that when I have my brother to think about." I tell her.
Echo"Has he implied he would take back his help?" I asked her curious. That didn't sound right with what Jamie has told me about his brother.
Luca
I hummed softly. "We'll just have to figure out a way to work on her fear." I murmured softly. I crossed my arms leaning back.
BeaI bit my lip as she asks about him implying at all that he would do that. "No... but why would he keep helping me. He obliviously wants to help me because he is attracted to me." I say quietly.
Jamie
He murmurs we'll have to figure out a way to work on her fear. He crosses his arms leaning back. "You could take with the healer. See what they could do to maybe ease her mind." I tell him and sigh. It was going to be a struggle for them but I knew my brother would push through if he really wanted this girl.
Echo"That's not always true Bea and you know that." I said softly. "From what Jamie tells me he is very charitable and very hard working he's started four or five different charities. So I don't think he's helping you just because he's attracted to you." I said softly.
Luca
"I'll make a few calls...do you want them to look at Echo?" I asked him running a hand through my hair.
BeaShe tells me that isn't always true and what Jamie has told her sounds like Luca is very charitable and very hard working. So she doesn't think he is helping me just because he is attracted to me.
"I know... I just don't want to get my hopes up that everything would work out and then have it ripped away." I say quietly.
Jamie
He says he'll make a few calls and asks about Echo. "I already contracted them about her. I want to see if they can do anything for her eyes." I tell him. I would give anything to have her see me, even if it was just for a second. Not that looks mattered to her but I wanted her to see me. My wolf. She had sounded so disappointed earlier when I told her about it, that she couldn't see us.
Echo"Can I offer some advice? Coming from someone who kept them selves at arm's length from everyone?" I said smiling softly. "Taking the leap? It's worth it." I told her softly.
Luca
"You really like her don't you?" I said smiling softly at my brother I hadn't seen him like this in a very long time.
BeaShe asks if she can offer some advice and as someone who kept themselves at arms length from every to take the leap. It was worth it. "I'll... I'll think about it." I tell her with a little nod.
Jamie
He smiles saying I really like her. I nod a little. "She is interesting for a human. I enjoy her wit." I say with a little smile. "She also is pretty accepting of my other half. She actually thought it was kind of cool."
EchoI smiled softly. "That's all I ask." I told her. I reached out and squeezed her hand gently. "Also don't worry if he does pull a dick move like that you and your brother can stay at my place." I promised.
Luca
"I haven't seen you like this with a girl in a long time." I said softly.
BeaShe smiles and says that is all she asks. She reaches out to squeeze my hand and tells me not to worry if he does pull a dick move like that then my brother and I can stay at her place.
"Thank you." I say softy squeezing her hand back. "We should get back to the guys before they start to wonder what is taking us so long."
Jamie
"Same could be said about you, brother. This girl has you tied up in knots over her. I can see it in your eyes." I tell him after he says he hasn't seen me like this about a girl in a long time.
EchoI chuckled softly and nodded. "yeah let's get going." I said smiling softly at her. She led me back towards table. I pulled her to a stop as a server tripped in front of us spilling food all over the floor.
Luca
I smiled slightly and looked down. "I just want her to be happy... preferably with me." I said softly.
BeaShe chuckles and nods as she says let's get going. I help guide her back to the table. She pulls me to a stop as a server trips in front of us, dumping his tray of food all over the floor in front of us.
"You okay?" I ask him as I bend down to help pick up the few plates that were still in one piece.
"I'm fine." He says blushing. Poor kid I knew how embarrassing it was to lost a tray of food. Before my two current jobs, I worked at one of those breakfast types diners.
Jamie
He smiles a little and looks down saying he wants her to be happy preferably with him. "I'm sure she will be. She likes you regardless if she is trying to keep her distance." I tell him.
I glance over as I hear a crash and see some poor server on the ground with a tray of food. Luca's girl bends down to help him. Looks like they just missed crashing into him. Probably thanks to Echo. She was pretty perceptive for someone without sight.
EchoI followed Bea over to him. Listening to the boy talk hearing the embarrassment. I smiled softly at him hearing a small tremmor in his voice. "It's okay, but you should probably sit down and take care of your low blood sugar before going back to your shift." I told him softly.
Luca
I watched the girls help the waiter. Poor kid was embarrassed but I'm sure most patrons here could relate. I chuckled softly. "Are you sure your girl is fully human brother?" I teased.
BeaEcho comes over and tells the boy it is okay and he should probably sit down and take care of his low blood sugar. We both look at her surprised but the boy nods.
"Okay, sorry again." He says picking up the rest of the mess and heading back to the kitchen.
I help guide Echo back over to our table.
Jamie
I chuckle and smile. "She is but she is a little fruit bat. Picks up on all kinds of things." I tell him and grin as they come back to our table. I draw Echo into my arms and hug her to me.
Luca"I'm guessing that's how she figured you were a wolf before you told her?" I joked quietly before the girls came back over. I smiled at Bea.
Echo
I smiled softly and snuggled into Jamie. I pressed a light kiss to his neck. "Hello lovely." I murmured.
JamieI nod to my twin and smile as she snuggles into my arms. She presses a light kiss to my neck and murmurs hello. "Hello, fruit bat. I ordered you a burger." I tell her with a smile.
Bea
I sit back down next to Luca. "Oh shoot I forgot to tell you my order didn't I." I say hearing Jamie talk about ordering food.
LucaI chuckled softly. "You did but I ordered you a sweet tea so when our waiter gets back with our drinks you could tell him what you would like." I said smiling softly.
Echo
I hummed. "Thank you beast." I said softly kissing his cheek.

"Come sit, fruit bat. The healer will be here any minute to take a look at your eyes." I tell her, patting the couch cushion next to me. I was glad to hear that the healers were free to come today.
Bea
I fiddle with my newly fixed locket. The jeweler had done a wonderful job on fixing and cleaning it. I wasn't sure about this nurse person that was coming. Luca told me it was standard procedure for new employees. I'm guess that means like a drug test, maybe something else work related.
EchoI smiled slightly from where I had been shifting from foot to foot trying not to get my hopes up. I sat beside him I leaned on him. "I'm excited....and nervous." I chuckled softly.
Luca
I watched the old healer leaning against the wall by the door.
"Lay back deary this won't take but a moment." She said with a motherly smile.
JamieI wrap my arms around her and kiss her head softly. "Don't be nervous. You are in good hands. The healer will try everything possible to see if we can get your eye sight back." I tell her.
Bea
The older lady tells me to lay back and this won't take a moment. "Okay." I say with a nod and lay back against the bed. I was glad that Luca was here through. It made me a little last nervous.
Echo"I'm just...I'm trying not to get my hopes up in case they can't do anything you know?" I said softly snuggling into his side.
Luca
I smiled reassuringly at Bea. The old Sage started to poke and prod gently as she slowly looked for a scar where the wolf could have infected her.
We knew when we found it when there was a sharp growl. I stood up straight.
JamieShe snuggles into my side saying she didn't want to get her hopes up. I nod and smile as the older lady comes in. "Hello healer." I say with a nod.
"Good afternoon, future alpha." She says with a nod and walks over to Echo and me. "Oh aren't you just the cutest little thing." She says with a smile, gently reaching out to touch Echo's face.
Bea
I lay still as the older lady pokes and prods. I feel her touch the scar on the back of my calf and then there is a growl. I sit up spooked by the sound and see Luca standing up suddenly.
"What's wrong?" I ask confused on what this was about.
"Good it's deer old family recipe." I told him grinning I winked at him. I chuckled softly. "Gotta love a man who can cook." I teased him smiling softly.
Luca
I smiled softly. "You of all people deserve kindness my little Atlas." I told her softly. I wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead gently. I smiled softly down at her.
