Drips.2.0 discussion
Highest bidder (Gemma and Bamma)

She beamed. "Yes please anything." She smchirped hopping up on the stool I set my beer on the other side of me glancing at the sneaky elf. "Are you feeling better?" I asked her softly. She nodded. "Much it feels nice to breathe freely again. " She told me I nodded. I smiled softly at her. "Good don't forget your check up." I told her softly.

I nod as she beams yes please and anything. She hops up onto the stool and talks with the Doc as I whip up a drink for her. A few minutes later I serve up a margarita mocktail for the elf.
"Non alcoholic margarita. Mix of honey, limeade concentrate, fresh lime juice, grapefruit juice, almond extract, orange extract for flavor. Flake salt and a smidge of chili pepper on the rim for spice." I tell the elf as I set the drink down for her.

I looked over at the drink raising an eyebrow impressed she sipped it and hummed. "It's wonderful Cam thank you. Oh this is Lyra the doc everyone has been buzzing about." She said smiling at me. I chuckled softly. "It's nothing really Gina." I muttered shyly.

Gina sips the drink and thanks me before she introduce the Doc. "No problem" I tell Gina and hold out a hand to Lyra. "Nice to meet you, Lyra. I've heard good thing about you from several of my patrons. Got quite the following." I tell her with a smile.

I smiled slightly and shook his hand. "I'm always happy to help those in need." I said shaking my head. "One of my Patients actually told me about this place." I said they specifically mentioned the hot bartender that was fun to oggle as you drink.

She shakes my hand and she says she is always happy to help those in need. She tells me one of her patients actually told her about this place. "Well I'm glad you decided to stop by." I tell her with a smile.
I top off her drink and place it back in front of her. "On the house, doc." I say with wink before I go serve up some regulars.

I chuckled softly as he winked at me. I nodded my thanks as Gina went back to her mate. I sipped my beer and relaxed back against the wall by the bar watching the crowd. I wasn't much of a social butterfly anymore and I hadn't been to a bar since I had gotten pregnant.

I serve up drinks to the regulars, laughing and joking at they watch the game. This was why I opened the bar. To give supernaturals a place to feel welcomed as well as humans.
I head back over to the Doc and lean against the bar. "You seem kind of out of place. You not come to bars often?" I ask her, seeing her sip her beer just watching people.

"I used to. I was quite the party girl a few years back." I told him chuckling I smirked. "Mind you I wasn't nearly as bad as the wedding party you served tonight. But I was known for being the life of the party." I put my feet up on the other stool crossing my legs.

She tells me she used to and was quite the party girl a few years back, not as bad as the wedding party I sevred tonight but she was known to be the life of the party.
"If you don't mind me asking what changed that? I mean you are still pretty young."

I smiled softly. "I had to grow up once I found out I was pregnant." I told him smiling softly. "Being a single mother doesn't really give you a lot of time to go out and party." I told him with a lopsided grin. "My son is spending time with his father and step mom right now." I told him.

She smiles and tells me she had to grow up when she found she was pregnant. That being a single mother doesn't really give you time to party. She gives me a lopsided grin and tells me her son is spending the night with his father and step mom.
"Ah, so I take it you are single since the father is married." I say once she finishes explaining.

"I am." I nodded once letting him know he was correct. I sipped my beer and smiled slightly. "He's not exactly married but....he and his mate have marked each other so it's the same difference." I told him chuckling softly.

She tells me she is and sips her beer. She tells me he isn't exactly married but he and his mate had already marked each other.
"Ah so werewolf then. They take marking very seriously I heard. Once they choose and mark their mate that's it. No divorce, no take backs. It's for life." I tell her.

"So I have been told." I chuckled softly and smiled. "I'm just glad they didn't find each other while I was dating him or I would have been terribly upset." I joked.

She chuckles and says so she has been told. She jokes she is glad he didn't meet his mate when they were dating or she would have been upset. I chuckle a little and give her a smile.
"I wouldn't have been. It's better to know then to keep on convincing yourself that he loves you like that. It worse when you find out that the person you thought loved you, never really did." I tell her.

"Eh we weren't really....in love," I told him. "I knew even before I broke it off with him that we were better friends then lovers." I told him softly. I smirked. "We are friends now though connected by our son." I sighed. "I am friends with both he and is mate they really are the most lovey dovey sickly sweet couple you would ever meet." I laughed softly.
"But what about you Can?" I asked him crossing my arms. "My clients have told me about the charming bartender but haven't really told me much else." I said.

She tells me they weren't in love and she knew they were better off as friends then lovers. She says that they are now friend connected by their son. She asks about me and that here clients have told her I'm a charming bartender but not much else.
"Why I think they summed it up quite well." I say with a laugh. "Not really much to say. I'm a supernatural. I run a bar. Single as well." I say with a wink.

I laughed softly. I smirked. "Well I sort of guessed you were a supernatural." I teased him. I rolled my eyes good naturedly as he winked at me. "I think they failed to mention a few traits of yours." I teased him.

She laughs and smirks saying that she guessed that I was a supernatural. She rolls her eyes a little and teases me about that they didn't tell her about a few traits of mine.
"Oh really? Is it my dashing good looks? My charming yet sexy attitude?" I tease with a grin.

"I was thinking more of cockiness." I told him laughing softly. "But hey if your comfortable with your partners feeding your ego..." I teased him enjoying the banter.

She tells me she was thinking it was more cockiness. She teases me and I chuckle a little. "Not cockiness when it is true." I tease. "What about you, Doc. I've heard you are a good doctor but not much more."

I chuckled softly. "Really there isn't much more." I told him shaking my head. "I have dedicated my life to my job and my son the past five years." I told him smiling softly.

She chuckles and tells me there isn't much more. That she is dedicated her life to her job and son. "Come now, there must be something else? No girly chill time talking about boys and getting your nails painted or whatever? No "I'm single and ready to mingle" hooks up?" I ask.

I snorted. "No," I told him. "Not many men willing to date a woman with "baggage" as they call it and I really don't want to bring an endless stream of men into my son's life in case they don't work out. Plus there is the fact I don't like hiring baby sitters last time I did for the night my house was trashed and my son had been neglected." I told him scowling.

She tells me not many men are willing to date a woman with baggage and she doesn't want an endless stream of men in her sons life, plus she doesn't like hiring a babysitter.
"But the father is willing to watch him know, that opens up things for you right. I mean you are way too young and pretty to take yourself out of the game already." I tell her.

"This is the first weekend I've had to myself." I told him chuckling softly. "I don't know about dating yet though." I told him shrugging blushing slightly when he called me pretty. I shrugged. "It does but it's not that easy to just jump into thinks again."

She chuckles and admits this is the first free weekend she has had to herself. She shrugs and blushes saying she doesn't know about dating. I smile and give her hand a little squeeze.
"Well give yourself some time and then give it a shot but don't take yourself out of the dating game yet. I am sure there are a lot of great guys out there that would be sad if you did." I say with a smile.

I smiled softly and squeezed his hand back gently. "I will thanks Cam." I said with a shy smile.

She smiles softly and squeezes my hand back before she says she will and thanks me. "My pleasure, Doc." I say softly and let go of her hand. "Anything more or are you good for the night?" I ask, nodding to her glass.

"Just a coffee once my glass is empty please." I told him shaking my head. I smiled at him softly.

She tells me just coffee once her glass is empty. "Sure, Doc." I tell her with a smile and go brew up some coffee and check on a few other costumers at the bar. The crowd was winding down as the sport games ended.

I smiled as the crowd wound down. I smiled softly as I got quiet you could hear the old jukr box in the corner playing. I sighef softly finishing off the bit of beer left and smiled as my coffee was brought. "Thank you, if you don't mind can may I ask which race you are?" I asked curious.

She smiles as I bring over her coffee with a little cup for the fixings. She thanks me and asks what race am I. I chuckle a little and lean back against the bar. "It's fine I get that question a lot." I tell her.
"I'm an elemental. Specifically an earth elemental. Elementals are an ancient and nearly extinct supernatural race. We are pretty much humanoid personifications of the four main elements." I tell her.

My eyebrows rose in surprise. "Wow that's amazing." I said a bit of awe coloring my voice. "What's it like being so connected to the earth like that?" I said I'm possibly curious.

She looks at me in awe and says that is amazing. She asks what it is like being so connected to the earth like that. "It's... not as great as you would think. Sure it is nice to be connected and control the earth but also reminds me that I am not human. That I can get lost in that connection."
"Most of my brothers and sisters have given up their human forms and returned to the earth. It is why my kind is becoming more rare. We have no souls so we long to return to our element."

I reached over and squeezed his hand gently. "I'm sorry Cam. I didn't mean to bring up a sore subject." I told him softly. I could understand how that could be aweful.

She reaches over and squeezes my hand softly. She tells me she is sorry she brought up a sore subject. "No, it's fine. Most of the supernatural community knows about it. Regardless, I'm sticking around. After all who would run the bar and be charming if I didn't." I say trying to lighten the mood some.

I chuckled softly. "You say charging rest of the world says cocky..." I teased following his example. I smiled softly. "I'm glad you decided to stick around." I told him softly.

She chuckles and teases that what I call charming the rest of the world calls cocky. She smiles softly and tells me she is glad I decided to stick around.
"Yea, me too." I say with a little smile.

I stood up and slipped behind the bar. "Sit down and relax for a moment." I said in mother hen doctor mode I rolled up my long sleeves and tied on the apron. "Go on." I shooed. "I know my away around a bar and I know what supernatural can't have what." I told him.

She stood up and slipped behind the bar. She tells me to go relax and puts on an apron. She shoos me out and I chuckle a little as I walk around to sit down on a stool.
She tells me she knows her way around a bar and what supernaturals can't have what. "You look pretty good back there, Doc." I tease with a smile.

I snorted. "Well thank you, you shoukd have seen me when I actually bar tended." I told him and in a rapid fire I filled in three beer orders sliding them down the bar. I started cutting up lemons. "I used to do trick bar tending. Big tips." I told him chuckling.

She snorts a little and thanks me before she says I should have seen her when she was actually a bar tender. She fill out three orders and cuts up some lemons. She tells me she use to do tricks too.
"Impressive, Doc. If you are ever looking to make some extra money. You are welcome to come tend a couple of night if you want." I tell her.

"Well if you ever need a break just give me a call how's that?" I said smiling softly at him as someone ordered a martini. I searched for his shaker but found a metal cup instead. I shrugged grabbing a tall bar glass I grabbed the vermuth and gin adding a bit if olive brine I clapped the tall bar glass into the metal cup making a Boston shaker as I mixed the drink I got the glass ready before cracking it open slightly over the glass filling it without spilling a drop. I handed it to the lively naiad who ordered it.

She tells me well if I ever need a break then just give her a call. "Sure but you are letting me pay you for it." I tell her as she starts to mix up a drink. She definitely had skills behind the bar. Kind of hot.
"Nicely done, Doc. Aren't you just fill of surprises." I say with a grin.

"Fine but don't be surprised to find a mysteriously large tip the next time you bar tend." I teased him smirking. "Oh you have no idea honey." I teased him smirking slightly. I leaned on the bar in front of him a towel on my shoulder. "So would you like to order something? Or are you just enjoying oggling me?" I teased him batting my eye lashes at him.

She teases then don't be surprised if I find a mysteriously large tip next time I bar tend. She smirks and adds I have no idea. She leans against the bar and asks me if I am going to order anything or just enjoy ogling her.
"Well you are a pretty little thing and you look great behind the bar." I tease with a grin. "I'll take a whiskey neat." I tell her.
She raises her eyebrow as the elf girl opens her mouth to order. She groans and sighs dramatically before saying she isn't allowed to drink until she finishes her meds.
The Doc as the girl called her smirks and mutters good to know she is finally following directions. "My apologizes. Something non alcoholic then?" I ask the elf.
