When you learned that Catherine had killed Capra, did you have any initial theories as to why the current murders were identical to his?

I originally thought that maybe Capra wasn't dead after all. It took me a while to consider there was a partner.

I never considered a partner but definitely thought it was a copycat once I learned that Capra was dead without question. I even considered it might be a cop.

It's been a while since I read the book, but I think I was also leaning toward a copycat.
