What do you do with a format of "ebook kindle" that was imported by the bots from Amazon? It has isbn 13 but is it just the kindle or is it indeed an ebook?

It means they are importing the underlying ISBN from Amazon associated with a Kindle edition.

So I suggest first searching Amazon with it, and see what comes up. It will usually be a Kindle edition. If it's one we already have (by ASIN), then leave the ISBN and set format to ebook. Many times it will also be sold under that same ISBN elsewhere.

It did come up kindle and we do have that asin, so ebook it is :)
