Combined. I combined two editions of another book by this author as well.
In future please post requests like this in the Book Issues folder. Page numbering requests are often done by new librarians who may not feel confident with combines & this may be part of the reason why your request was skipped. :)

Sorry, I have just decided I'm not going to do requests when they are unnumbered & have more than 5 in a post. If there are problems it is just too hard to keep track of where I am up to.

Hi, 1. Yes, it's a French edition of 1984.
2. On page 193 it's written "The end" in french and then there are blank pages.
3. On pages 419-420 are the author's thanks, from pages 421 to 428 these are summaries of other books from the same publisher and on page 431 these are just details like where and when the book was printed.

#233.1 Sorry Cassie I should have checked the page count on World Cat at the same time. For peace of mind I have run the French blurb on World Cat thru Google translate & it doesn't mention anything about essays. But World Cat shows this edition having 393 pages, so can you tell me what is on pages 394-400 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.

I think this may not be a series by GR standards, but I speak very little French, & don't work much with series, so I will put a query in the is that a series thread.

1. From page 392 to 394 there is a translator's note, 395 the summary of the book and 397/398 the titles of the other Orwell books.
