Ch 4 - (view spoiler)[ OK, so Kendall and Jake are a little cliched as far as characters go, but I still like them. I guess I enjoy the hate/annoyed with each other turned to attraction dynamic in my stories. I thought that Nathan was going to be the love interest at first, but it's pretty clear that Jake is the other MC, and I want to see what happens with them. Kendall sure can get into trouble! Ch 7 - (view spoiler)[ Geez! Kendall is like a trouble magnet! Why can't she just listen to Jake. I mean, I know he was drugged and all, but he was still breathing - a normal person would have waited more than 5 seconds to see if he was going to come out of it. Ah well, I guess our story wouldn't be so interesting if she did that.

Ch 11 - (view spoiler)[ Ooo, I want to find out more about this mysterious illness Nathan has. Is it like a werewolf or something? And who did hire Fergus? He is like the only family Nathan has had since he was a kid and he doesn't even know how Fergus came into the picture. Very mysterious!

Are we going to have a love triangle now? Not that I'm complaining, both Jake and Nathan seem pretty hot inside and out. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 14 - (view spoiler)[ I'm so caught up in everything right now, I don't know what to think. Why does she think that she can make a difference in her vision? What is Brandi's deal? Who the hell is the Reaper and why would they run TOWARD where he is? and most of all, why can't these three just stick together? Haven't they learned yet that running off alone is big trouble for everyone? (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[ I'm pretty confident that Nathan is Adam. And I have a sneaking suspicion that Jake might be his brother somehow, and another that the Reaper is really Nathan's father. But... I guess I won't find out for sure until the next book. And I really hope that we see some Kendall/Nathan action in that one. She obviously loves both Nathan and Jake - let's see it!! Ch 6 - (view spoiler)[ Well, I'm glad that Kendall is actually lost with someone this time - Nathan. Maybe something will finally happen between the two of them. And while I'm also glad that Raphael seems to be firmly on their side these days, I am growing tired of the Reaper and Brandi always showing up. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 10 - (view spoiler)[ Um, OK. So Kendall isn't the Reaper's kid. Great. That doesn't rule out Jake or Nathan really. My money is on Jake.

I really hope this reincarnation thing of King Arthur and company actually goes somewhere in the storyline. At the moment it just doesn't make sense to me. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 17 - (view spoiler)[ Ok, I'm annoyed. Everyone has admitted that they love each other, so why does Kendall have to choose? Maybe we have been reading too many reverse harem books together lately, but I'm really irritated that Jake and Nathan are in competition with one another. (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[I'm not sure if I am just annoyed that Kendall, Jake and Nathan haven't worked out their relationship or what, but I feel like this book didn't satisfy me as much as it should have. I mean, they found the grail, they know who the Reaper's kid is, they have some more answers about how the whole guardian thing works, they've even become guardians themselves, but.....I still don't understand the King Arthur reincarnation thing, Nathan and Kendall haven't done more than just kiss, Brandi is still hovering nearby, and they don't have a clue why all 4 relics shouldn't be near each other or what power is the result. Yeah, I am most upset that the romance storyline didn't progress - 3 books! Come on! And was it just me, or is Kendall's dialogue in this one a bit annoying? (hide spoiler)] This 3rd book was published back in 2015, and I don't see anything on the 4th book, so I guess the story is done?? That's disappointing.
