Page Number Incorrect: Bring Me Back Paperback

I am currently reading the paperback version of this book (ARC copy) and it only has a total of 223 pages, not the 336 it states on its GoodReads page. Also, the ISBN listed is for the HARDCOVER version, and, in reality, the ISBN is listed for the PAPERBACK version.

Per the book I have:

ISBN13: 9781250151339
Publisher: St Martin's
page count: 223 pages

On the back cover of the book it gives the following ISBN's and formats:

Hardcover, fiction, 336 pages: ISBN13: 978-1-250-15133-9
ebook, page count not listed: 978-1-250-15135-3

I'm a bit confused how 2 different formats - Paperback, Hardcover - can have the same ISBN13 numbers? Especially when the page count is so vastly different?

I tried making a "new edition" however because it shares the ISBN with the hardcover (with a very different page count), it wouldn't let me.

Any/all help is greatly appreciated.

ARCs get a separate edition with no ISBN. They often have a different format than the published edition that eventually uses the same ISBN. THey may also have different page numbers as a result. If you'd like to upload a scanned or photographed copy of your ARC edition, I can make a separate alternate cover edition for it here on Goodreads. Regardless, the ISBN and its accompanying information here will stay unchanged.
