Attending Book Expo or Con in New York?

Hi Carole! I might be. I attended both a few years back which was a lot of fun.

What was it like?

[Laura]

I had my book displayed with the IBPA so I was very excited. I attended more of the Book Expo than the Book Con, but since it was my first one I didn’t know what to expect and to be honest didn’t really do much planning . So I would advise to do some planning so you know which events/talks you want to go to, or if there is a book signing or particular author you want to meet. And be prepared for long lines - but that’s part of the fun. It was great to discover and meet so many amazing authors, many whom I was not aware of. All in all a wonderful experience.
