In a culture where we are bombarded with ideas and images of “what we should be,”
how does one form an identity that remains true and authentic for her/himself?

For Klara she was bombarded with what her mother did not want her to become (a magician) which now we know because her grandmother (a famous magician) passed away from a courageous stunt she performed. Klara had no knowledge of this until recently, her true identity is very similar to her grandmothers.
