History: Youngest daughter of Tristan and Yvaine (King and Queen of Stormhold). As the youngest of 12 sisters, Estelle was the smallest and was outshined by her bigger, brighter sisters. From up in the sky, she often looked down on earth in longing to live like the humans. Her father, once being a human on earth, often told her exciting stories about life there. Her mother finally allowed her to descend to Earth where she soon learned it was a lot more frightening than she thought. People were ruthless, greedy, and inhumane. She experienced that firsthand when she was attacked and robbed out of nowhere one evening. Someone found her and took her to some nuns. They took care of her until she could regain her strength. Despite all that, she saw a glimmer of good in the world and decided to stay. The moment she was strong enough to leave the convent, she came to The Castle to learn how to defend herself (without using her starlight, which can kill people).

History: She’s really go-with-the-flowish, its a mermaid cliche but she doesn’t care. She’s pretty laid-back in the water but school is different for her. She wears a blue necklace with her initials dangling from it that gives her the ability to have legs when she wants them. She’s always nervously messing with it when she’s around too many people. She’s pretty open about her wounds, she gets in a lot of fights when she goes home for the holidays for going to school on land. Once on land she discovered coffee and now has a minor obsession with it. Born from an egg like most mermaids, Sphinx was under average in size. Her tail had no shimmer either which concerned her parents (king and queen of the Pacific Ocean) but they stopped worrying when she got a bit older. She’s got no brothers or sisters, just close friends who try to keep her safe over breaks. She was always scared of humans because they ate seafood which was never okay with her seeing as she loved her friends. Personality: Alexis is a hopeless romantic with plenty of fantasies of how love should work but she pushes away everyone who’s ever liked her because she’s scared to hurt them. When she’s thirsty for blood she can hardly control herself because she tends to stave it off for as long as she can before she becomes practically a monster. Her eyes are never open when she feeds though because while she needs it to survive the sight of blood makes her pass out. Although nobody knows it she hates being a vampire and has apologized to everything she’s ever fed off of before and after it’s death. She was turned as a child in the forest where her mother often went hiking with her near the castle. They were together when they were attacked. Her mother was turned as well but was killed soon after. Her father had died in a car crash years earlier and now she was eight years old and afraid in the woods. At first she was living alone in the castle with the servants but soon after was kidnapped by the vampires who turned her and raised as one of their own for a year. She was seen as weak and was cast aside often enough that she developed a hatred for her own kind. She grew too strong for any of them to control. Feeding off his own hatred for them. She eventually returned to her castle seething with hatred and malnourished.

History: Tobian tends to be quiet, placid, bookish, anxious, indecisive only because she's more submissive, she has strong morals.You can sense this sort of “smallness" around her. She's actually a bit edgy. Tobian doesn’t like to talk much. While she’s smart he doesn’t show it and remains an enigma to most people. She prefers it that way. When people know too much about her she tends to push them away. If she really thinks she connects with someone though she's willing to let them be a bit closer to her than others. Tobian tends not to sleep or eat too much and as a result she's got extremely dark circles under her eyes. Tobian was an only child so her parents tended dote on her, much to her dismay. They were constantly concerned over how much sleep she got and where he was at all hours of the day. She found ways around this though. Clever as she was she never had a knack for saving herself. She didn’t much care what happened to her body so she often came home with random cuts and bruises here and there from running into things while reading and walking. She was once so deep into a book she walked into the middle of the street and got hit by a car sending her to the hospital for three broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder. Her demon form never really came out unless she got extremely upset. When she was angry especially. Her parents had always tried to train her to keep it hidden but eventually after her horns came out at school in second grade they pulled her and started homeschooling. She’s the princess of the demon realm but her father wanted to try living amongst humans to show that it was possible for their kind to do so.
