SOLVED. Historical - Girl pretending to be a widow is kidnapped after a train robbery. [s]

Hello! So this the first time I am using this so it is a little difficult for me. I am looking for a book a read a long time ago. It's historical and it involves a young woman pretending to be a widow. The train she is riding, was attacked by a gang. One member of the gang (the hero) is actually a marshal (I think) and he saves the girl. I also remember the girl was running away, after she escaped some kind an asylum. She had a rose shaped scar on her hand, after she burned her hand and she was wearing gloves all the time.
She had a wealthy sister and her brother in law is looking for her.
Hopefully you can help me identify this book.
