Jazzy thought for a moment then hopped on, more easily this time.
Jazzy tried to follow him. It wasn't very easy.
"Ok." Jazzy said. She smiled.
Jazzy smiled and concentrated. She still wasn't that good though.
"I better get to class." Jazzy said sighing. With great difficulty she hopped off the broom.
"Oh all right." Jazzy said smiling. She hopped on the broom and waited for him to take the lead.
Jazzy was right on his tail. Her boom surged forward and bumped into his. "Sorry." She laughed, sprawled out on the floor.
Jazzy smiled and got up. She remounted her boom.
Jazzy smiled at him and raced off on her broom. "Bet you can't catch me!" she hollered back, but she really thought he could.
Rose led the way into the Room of Requirements, wondering how dead she'd be if caught.
Rose nodded. "Dumbledore's Army, remember?"
"I haven't the foggiest," Rose answered.
"Oi! It's not an ability on demand!" she protested.
"I'm telling you to think of something," she slowly explained.
"And I'm a Gryffindor," Rose replied calmly.
"Not much. My cousin promised to teach me," Rose replied, a little embarrassed.
"Okay," Rose agreed. "You on the Quidditch team?"
"Well... No, but I'd like to try out and I'm a pretty good flyer," he tried leaning up against a stack of boxes to look cool but toppled over and the boxes fell on him. He looked up and gave a sheepish grin to Rose.
Rose burst out in a fit of laughter that caused her to double over. When she had recovered herself enough to speak, she said, "Cool. I used to be terrified of flying." She had fallen off a broom a couple times when she was younger, and that seemed to have scarred her for life or until now, at the very least.
Rose sighed and looked around the room. A couple of broomsticks had appeared near them. "I've flown from here to Diagon Alley and back before with my cousin's help." She smiled a bit.
"I'd lost my wand going out of bounds, and I needed a new one," Rose said with a shrug. Sure, she'd gotten in trouble for it, but she'd had fun and would not have missed it. "We went while we were supposed to be in detention." She laughed as she watched Mason's face.
"Who'd you do this all with? Your cousin James? Or Albus? Or just someone else?" He asked her, amused by the many ways she seemed to be able to get herself I do trouble. He liked that about her.
