Lure of the Night by Bethany Knox. Claire is young teenage girl who suffers bullying by others just because she seems different and tries to figure out who she is. A quote " The school had it's fair share of bullies and Stella and James were by no means the worst, but for some reason they'd decided to get their kicks by having a go at me". She always asked herself why everyone picks on her, did she do something wrong? whats so different about her? Well Claire was different yes, she didn't know who she was, everyone seem very normal. She was pale, nice soft skin and very quite keeping everything to herself. Until one day she scaped from bullying ending up in the woods, where at the middle of the night she hears sounds and met this guy name Ethan who she felt was the same and had a connection with her. Ethan went to her same school. He was weird and also quiet. They ended having a connection and it goes on. Does being different makes it right for people to bully you? it should be the opposite, treat you nice to make you feel better right?
