Funny my Goodreads account has re-linked with my Kindle account--even though I unlinked some time ago. I have plenty of books I read that I read privately and don't want here, versus what I wish to share with others. I'm sure that is true of many of you. Now, it's not so easy to unlink I find. Why? Because they want you all linked up as a consumer, and so they can feed on your private data (which the US has done nothing to protect). The Nation just published a very telling article on the mega corporation Amazon's Jeff Bezos is building. Goodreads has been sucked into this greed hole. So don't this is just a cool place to document your reading and share with friends. It's a product mover and a data collector.
I had to link this comment to a book though it is general, and this book is the best one I've read lately about what is wrong with our greed culture.
