Some of my favorites so far are:

Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughan
The Falling in Love Montage by Ciara Smyth

- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
- Crier's War
- Not My Problem

- The Grief Keeper
- Last Night at the Telegraph Club
- Juliet Takes a Breath
- Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating

I've actually been working on compiling a big google doc of sapphic books for my friends so I'm always looking for new additions for both that and my TBR. In addition to reading, I love Star Wars, classic lit, musical theatre, and dramatic arts as a whole!

the seven husbands of evelyn hugo
we were liars
a man called ove
the raven cycle
she drives me crazy
six crimson cranes

Currently I'm reading 'I Hope Your Listening'.
I'm relatively new here on Goodreads but I'm so happy to have found this group and being in a community of fellow book lovers who can recommend wlw books and chat!

I love romance and horror and my favorite books are:
The Henna Wars
Felix Ever After
It's behind you

And I enjoyed reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and A Lesson in Vengeance!! I look forward to discovering more sapphic books <3

I'm new to Sapphic books so I've only read a couple,
but my fav so far is last night at the telegraph club.

Hey Theodora :) I haven't read Last Night At The Telegraph Club, but now I really want to. Happy reading and have a nice day!

current faves are aurora's angel and charon docks at daylight

Hey Alisha :) That's a beautiful name btw. Nice to have you here! I also really love diverse stories, and my reading habits are weird. Sometimes I finish four books a week, other times it takes me a months to finish one book. Happy reading and have a lovely day :)

I don't read near enough. My to read pill is getting bigger and bigger with no end in sight
Love to read thriller, romance, fantasy and horror fantasy books
Some of my favorites books with wlw characters are:
- Millennium (first three) by Stieg Larsson
- The Kyoshi Novels by F.C. Yee
- The Priory Of The Orange by Shannon Samantha
- Commencement by J. Courtney Sullivan
- Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg
- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I'm looking for books like Millennium, with some violence and a queer bad ass heroine (who is not a high schooler or college student) in the thriller/horror/fantasy genre

thank you! it's the same for me. some weeks, I'm so unbelievably motivated to read everything in sight and others I barely get in a page. unfortunately, I've had way too many reading slumps. you too!

I’m also studying criminology and love a true crime book (the only non-fiction books I’ll read) ✨
My favourite wlw book I’ve read (so far) is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid 🌻

I'm Kai, I go by they/them and I'm Sapphic, Asexual and I'm Non-Binary. I love reading, writing, Greek Mytho and a ton of other stuff.
Thank you Jackie for the invite!!! <3

My name is Ali, I am Irish and I run a podcast on Spotify called 'What Would Sappho Say' where I read and review sapphic books! I am trying to join as many groups on this app so that I can expand my knowledge on the books that I am reading and also get recommendations from others. I would also love people's opinions on the books that I have reviewed if any of you have read them as I would love to include other people's perspectives in the podcast! So if you have read any of the books I have or if you have any recommendations then please don't be afraid to send me a message. I am really looking forward to having others involved in the podcast!

lgbtq books i liked:
-right now i’m reading 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo and it is really worth the hype.. gosh it’s good
-beyond the black door by AM strickland is a dark fantasy with two Ace characters getting together and i can’t decide if it’s the best or that kind of terrible-good
-The fate of stars by S. D. Simper, of which i really enjoyed the first part! (though the second part is the worst book i’ve ever—and probably will ever—read)

Sounds silly but this is year I read my first book that actually had sapphics in it even though ive been reading books for years and just graduated uni with a degree in literature (shocking that we covered no sapphic content at all, clearly education still has a long way to go)
Feel like im 13 discovering reading for the first time again, it feels amazing to be seen in literature and feels as though in the past couple years so many more sapphic works are gaining traction (as they should!! its what we deserve really)
I will read anything with sapphics in it but i love fantasy, period, witches, romance and sci-fi the most!!

I just finished my first semester as an English major and we shockingly covered some sapphic material I thought some of you would like:
1. Trouble and her Friends- Melissa Scott (sci-fi/cyberpunk)
2. Dr. Edith Vane and the Hares of Crawley Hall- Suzette Mayr (satire/thriller(?))
3. The Tiger Flu- Larissa Lai (dystopian future/sci-fi(ish))
Personally I liked “The Tiger Flu” the best but they were all really good!! We also read “Brother” by David Chariandy that has an LGBT man in it that some of you might enjoy.
Anywho, happy reading!
Hi everyone! My name is Avery and I am really excited to have found this group because I am in dire need of sapphic recs to read this year! My favourite genres are thriller, fantasy and romance but I will read pretty much anything and I’m excited to get started :)

Hi Avery, my name is Ali!
I was wondering if you have read 'Before You Say I do' ?
Hi, Ali! I haven’t read that book (i’ve read shamefully few sapphic books actually) but i will add it to my TBR, thank you

No worries! You and I both. I have only started reading sapphic books this year! So I am currently on the search for people's thoughts and opinions on the books they have read!
Pretty much the only one i have read so far is ‘Leah On the Off Beat’ but it’s really good, i recommend!

Some of my favorites are The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Last Night At The Telegraph Club.

Hi Zoe, I was wondering if you have read Four Dead Queens? or We Set The Dark On Fire?

i love the book snapdragon, the grishaverse and reading long, gay books

I’m Max, they/them. Besides reading, my interest are dogs and dog behaviours, anything creative especially painting and anything outdoors!
I’m living in the UK but spend a lot of time in Austin Texas.
My favourite books recently have been The seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Reid Jenkins, Ruby fruit Jungle by Rita Mae Brown and Untamed by Glennon Doyle.
Thanks for this awesome group!
