I also love She Drives Me Crazy, and is currently listening to The Falling in Love Montage audiobook, but the Irish accent is hard for my non-native ears. Have anyone finished One Last Stop by Casey Mcquiston yet?

I haven't read for a while though unfortunately but I'm super happy to be getting back into it! I will read almost any genre as I love exploring new things, apart from horror! I can't say what my favourite books are because I haven't read enough recently to have a favourites list, especially since finding discreet wlw books to actually buy is almost impossible (I have found places to download from though thankfully!) I guess if I had to pick my go to genre though it would be fantasy but like I say, I'll read almost anything :)

Currently I'm reading 'I Hope Your Listening'.

I'm relatively new here on Goodreads but I'm so happy to have found this group and being in a community of fellow book lovers who can recommend wlw books and chat!

Love to read thriller, romance, fantasy and horror fantasy books

Some of my favorites books with wlw characters are:

message 288: by Ali (new)

Ali Lowry (ali_lowry) | 4 comments Hi everyone!
My name is Ali, I am Irish and I run a podcast on Spotify called 'What Would Sappho Say' where I read and review sapphic books! I am trying to join as many groups on this app so that I can expand my knowledge on the books that I am reading and also get recommendations from others. I would also love people's opinions on the books that I have reviewed if any of you have read them as I would love to include other people's perspectives in the podcast! So if you have read any of the books I have or if you have any recommendations then please don't be afraid to send me a message. I am really looking forward to having others involved in the podcast!

message 289: by Serena ♡ (new)

Serena ♡ (slurpingthembooks) | 1 comments hey guys! i’m Serena (they/she) and tryna find some queer (nerd) friends like myself :) I absolutely love science and well, books.

lgbtq books i liked:
-right now i’m reading 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo and it is really worth the hype.. gosh it’s good
-beyond the black door by AM strickland is a dark fantasy with two Ace characters getting together and i can’t decide if it’s the best or that kind of terrible-good
-The fate of stars by S. D. Simper, of which i really enjoyed the first part! (though the second part is the worst book i’ve ever—and probably will ever—read)

message 290: by Zoe (new)

Zoe | 1 comments Howdy folks, i'm Zoe! 23 (she/they)!

Sounds silly but this is year I read my first book that actually had sapphics in it even though ive been reading books for years and just graduated uni with a degree in literature (shocking that we covered no sapphic content at all, clearly education still has a long way to go)

Feel like im 13 discovering reading for the first time again, it feels amazing to be seen in literature and feels as though in the past couple years so many more sapphic works are gaining traction (as they should!! its what we deserve really)

I will read anything with sapphics in it but i love fantasy, period, witches, romance and sci-fi the most!!

message 291: by Kira (new)

Kira Wright | 2 comments Hi everyone!! I’m Kira.

I just finished my first semester as an English major and we shockingly covered some sapphic material I thought some of you would like:

1. Trouble and her Friends- Melissa Scott (sci-fi/cyberpunk)
2. Dr. Edith Vane and the Hares of Crawley Hall- Suzette Mayr (satire/thriller(?))
3. The Tiger Flu- Larissa Lai (dystopian future/sci-fi(ish))

Personally I liked “The Tiger Flu” the best but they were all really good!! We also read “Brother” by David Chariandy that has an LGBT man in it that some of you might enjoy.

Anywho, happy reading!
