Hello, I am new here, don't want to break any rules. I am Jane Brooke, 23 year old Brit, lesbian savage writer of bi and lesbian erotica. After publishing 12 erotica novels world wide at between 17 and 20 years old, because of health I stopped, cancer of the vocal cords. Healed now 3 years later, I have a new lesbian film noir BDSM and Bondage crime erotica novel out Vegas Savages, reviews just coming out. Released in japan, Europe USA and India, well it touched a nerve in India, where sales are booming as well as five star reviews by their gay female populace. Please don't scold me if I break any rules I don't mean to, Thank you Jane.

I would recommend In the Dream House: A Memoir by Carmen Maria Machado and Her Royal Highness by Rachel Hawkins. And If anyone reads in Spanish: Rios y Provincias by Romina Reyes.

But I love fantasy and YA books, and my favorite sapphic books are probably Leah on the Offbeat and Girls of Paper and Fire.
I’m very happy to be here and am absolutely open to talking anyone and making friends!! Can’t wait to see all the recommendations!

My name is Nefertiti. My pronouns are she/her, and I identify as a lesbian. I’m also kinda of a beginner with sapphic books. I've read a few, but I can't wait to read more! I’m so excited about making new friends and talking with y'all! Oh yeah, feel free to recommend me something!
Happy Reading! ♡

I'm Gabriella (she/her) and I'm from California. I identify as queer and gray-asexual. I'm 22 years old and just graduated university with a B.S. in clinical psychology. I absolutely love reading sapphic books, and I'm always on the hunt for my next favorite! :) Some of my favorites are:
YA:
Girls of Paper and Fire
Girls of Storm and Shadow
I Kissed Alice
Adult:
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics
Kiss the Girl
The Huntress
Fingersmith (reads as an adult novel, but with YA-age characters)
Written in the Stars (released November 10th)
Also, I'm anxiously awaiting these books:
One Last Stop (New Adult)
Girls of Fate and Fury (YA)
The Hellion's Waltz (Adult)
I'm always down to talk books and make bookish friends, so feel free to hit me up! :)

Hi Since I am always offending the more sensitive of readers by suggesting my newest novel a savage, brutal and hyper erotic Lesbian Crime Thriller VEGAS SAVAGES I'm going to do it any ways. So go on barbecue me, I can take it TY Jane Brooke.

A few of my favourites are:
- The Miseducation of Cameron Post
- A Memory Called Empire
- The Priory of the Orange Tree

the long way to a small angry planet
The Lily and the Crown
The Misseducation of Cameron Post
The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics
And I have recommended Thérèse et Isabelle by Violette Leduc (the full version): a very old book but the language is so poetic.
OK< I will probably be incinerated for this, BUT how does a lesbian 23 year old Brit writer of Lesbian 14 crime thrillers find a place here to introduce my two new LGBTQ books Death Orchid and Vegas Savages. Please be nice, I am bi polar and dyslexic have navigating problems TY Jane Brooke
Hello, I am Jane Brooke, a brit Lesbian writer of torrid LGBTQ crime thrillers and at 23 I have had 14 novels published world wide. . Please be patient with me, I am also OCD/BI Polar, and last time I posted my new novel on a site, the members viciously and sadistically attacked me. Where on this site, can I post my new novel VEGAS SAVAGES, again thank you for being kind. Cheers Jane Brooke>

I'm always here if you want to be friends or talk to a fellow nerd :)

I'm Martina (she/her), a 22 y.o. student from Argentina.
I have to say that I absolutely loved On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden, but I haven't read that many sapphic stories so I'm open to recommendations.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you like!
New here, where can I post my new new lesbian 2021 novel The Goddess That Ate Fire, I am a bit confused and don't want to break any rules. Thank you Jane Brooke

U.K. gay girl currently working my way through the Discworld series.
My favourite sapphic story is Tipping the Velvet, it changed my life when I fist read it as a teenager, hiding it under my pillow from my parents so I could stealthily read it at night. I still keep any books I’m currently reading under my pillow and I’m now 35!
I love fantasy and historical fiction, so if anyone has any wlw fantasy book recommendations let me know!

Fave sapphic reads have to be:
• The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
• This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mothar & Max Gladstone
• Fingersmith & Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters
• Crier’s War by Nina Valera (THE BEST)
• The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkoski

On the other hand, I'm currently reading Gideon the Ninth and one of my faves is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

I read 3-4 books per week and look forward to finding some great recs here.

There are numerous, including most of mine.

Great books.
Hi everyone! I'm Comet, a 20 year old, non-binary, sapphic politics major who somehow slowly regained (or at least trying to regain) their reading habits after years during quarantine. Because of a conservative family and country, I didn't get to read many queer/sapphic books, but I am determined to as long as I can get my hands on books!
So far I have read Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid as far as books that center wlw and I enjoyed them both a lot! I can't wait to see characters that are like me in more books!

Some of my favorite sapphic books:
- She Drives Me Crazy
- Her Royal Highness (the first sapphic book I ever read)
- The Henna Wars
- She's Too Pretty to Burn
- Ruinsong

I also enjoy knitting, playing the piano and guitar, watching queer movies, dancing, skateboarding and learning languages.
I love iced coffee, tea and my cat (even though she can be mean) and I'm very excited for She Who Became The Sun, it comes out in a few days :)
🏳️🌈

i only recently started reading sapphic books because i felt myself fall down the rwarb/soa/they both die at the end rabbithole and reminded myself i am in fact a lesbian lol and sapphic books exist.
so far i've read criers war (my first one- loved it sm) and one last stop. yes this list is embarrassingly small but IM WORKING ON IT I PROMISE
xx

Just got on Goodreads yesterday because I am currently reading 15 books and I want to keep track, been doing a lot of that this month to keep my anxiety at bay. And stumbled on this group. Sapphic representation is so important!!
Looking forward to reading the lovely recommendation and discussing it even!

Hey Chloe and welcome hehe! I also really like reading other queer books (but still, when there's sapphics somewhere I'm usually far more interested, because... sapphics).
What tropes/genres are you usually interested in? If you're into graphic novels and gays in space I would recommend On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden
Some of my favourites include Last Night at the Telegraph Club, The Girls I've Been, The Falling in Love Montage and Radio Silence (and so many more but that list would be way too long lol :))
Now I hope you have a great day and stay safe 😊🧡
