Anywho! From what I can remember; it's about some alien wolf guy that's the commander(?) of a buncha human peoples. It mainly focuses around him and a new recruit that give him a lotta crap before finding out he is her commanding officer. He pretty much got that position by surviving a situation and I think saving his entire platoon with a special ability, that only him and his platoon know about. (view spoiler) That's pretty much all i can remember about that book. Hope that's enough to go on

Alton, is romance an important element? Is he an (alien) wolf shifter?

Is the woman a human?

What are the main locations?

Rachel (beepboopbeep) | 3 comments Do you remember any names at all? Any random, seemingly insignificant details?

message 10: by Alton (new)

Alton Davis | 8 comments Unfortunately i cant remember any names. The wolf guy is the only alien there. Its been years since i've last read it and im not sure why its just come back to me. It starts off on either a ship or a station and eventually leads to an outpost on some planet. i think, either in the next book or later on, they end up on a planet populated by more of the wolf guys species and it completely catches him by surprise because he assumed he was last of his species or somethin, it didnt help that he attacked while he was in the 'blue-time'. i can try to comb my memory for more info if needed.

Sue Blaikie | 125 comments It’s not Black on Black by K D Wentworth is it? That seems to fit. There’s a sequel too, Stars over Stars.

Sue Blaikie | 125 comments Glad to help, it was the spoiler that did it.
By the way, in case you don’t know, K D Wentworth, sadly no longer with us, was actually a woman!
Happy Reading!
