Some more closely matched games in this round..but here's mine:Blues - 5
Port
Roos (Dees haven't beaten North since 2006!)
Freo
GIANTS (could be close, fairly even history between these 2 teams at the SCG)
Crows
Tigers (Hawks could do it, but the Tigs have had a 10 day rest!)
Bombers
Eagles (home game in a new stadium, I'm hoping the exhausting clash with the Hawks on Monday..will give the West Coast the edge)
Good luck folks, and cheers Val! :)
Better get mine in now in case I don't have time later;
Blues by 3
Power
Demons
Suns
Giants
Saints
Hawks
Bulldogs
Eagles

So, are you smiling or straining?
So, are you smiling or straining?
Tonight's result:Carlton Blues (RedJohn) v Collingwood Magpies (Tech)
3.2.20 (Q1) 4.0.24
3.4.22 (Q2) 9.4.58
7.8.50 (Q3) 13.4.82
11.10.76 (Q4) 16.4.100
Sussex is dead on the money (Pies x 24) so earns $6.00 for the Save The Bilby Fund. Nice going!
Well done Sussex!Carlton did their best to close the gap in the 2nd half..but the Pies just owned most of the first half, especially the 2nd quarter...I lost count..but they got something like 10 goal in a row, I think!
I had to Google what a Bilby was? ... awww they are so unusual and also so sweet too ... and absolutely definitely nothing at all like a cross between a Trilby or Bilberry like the weird Dyslexic side of my Mind kept on with trying to read the word Bilby as and then to imagine ... Hee, Hee, Hee!!! ;o>Congratulations Sussex! ... x
I thought the idea was to save them, Val?Not cover them in Chocolate and eat them for Easter! ... (*giggles*) ;o>
Just how many Chocolate covered Bilbys come in a case though? ;oOI've seen footage of Wildlife being caught and the poor things having Oil washed off them before they get to be released back into the wild again - but Sussex is really going to have his work cut out in washing (or licking off!) all of that Chocolate coating, isn't he? - LOL!!! ;o>
Heh heh, big fan of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. Got the boxset for Christmas from my daughter and just started the 4th season yesterday, can't beat a Carlton dance!! :-)
Tech wrote: "a chocolate bilby? sounds like a comestible one might purchase from an ,ahem, specialist emporium!"blimey! That's a good word Tech..not heard of comestible before..i had to google that up!
Mega ouch!! Must crack this habit of just giving points away.Second time I've forgotten to check match dates. Ok...no need to remind me that age might have something to do with it. :-)
Power
Roos
Suns
Giants
Crows
Tigers
Bombers
Cats
At least you remembered when you got here what it was you were supposed to be doing, RedJohn ;o>I've been up and down the Stairs all day long and over half of the time I've had no idea at all, by the time I got to the top or bottom, why on Earth I was there?!! - LOL! ;o>
Well..Giants weren't at their best today, but that last quarter did look promising from them...till those pesky Swans stole the game in final minutes...pah!Sussex is having belting round so far..a clean round, with SJB & Tech hot on his heels! :)
Today/night's results:Port Adelaide Power (Grizzly) v Brisbane Lions (David)

4.12.36 (Q3) 11.10.76
7.13.55 (Q4) 15.14.104
Apart from St Kilda, there were promising signs for most teams today. All were competitive and even threatening at various stages in the game. The Lions gave Port a bit of a fright and the Suns looked like showing up Freo in front of the latter's home crowd despite it being the Suns' home game. Even North started well but just couldn't sustain the effort. As Duke said above, Sussex, tech and Steve all sitting on 6 from 6. Great tipping!
Do you know? - I just KNEW that you would find something about them to comment on! ... I thought that it would be the brown Boomrang though?!! ... Hee, Hee, Hee!!! ;o>I think that the red one is supposed to be a map of Australia? - but it really doesn't work as a Cupcake Topper, does it?
Ohhh? - thanks for that, Val! ;o>I had to Google that as I've heard of Ayers Rock but never knew it had another name. And yes, I think that it must be, on looking at photos of it.
Tech wrote: "if i've got the choice, i'd rather not have the red one with the turd on it, thankyou!"Otherwise known as a boomerang! lol!
Oh.... I so want one of those little Koala ones..soo cute! :)
Why have two of those cakes got a battery on them??!! What's Australian about a battery??!!
Ah of course..the beer they export to the rest of world, cos the Aussie's aren't daft enough to drink it!!!!
Today's results:Richmond Tigers (Philip) v Hawthorn Hawks (unwanted)
5.3.33 (Q1) 2.4.16
8.7.55 (Q2) 5.6.36
12.11.83 (Q3) 7.8.50
15.12.102 (Q4) 13.11.89
Western Bulldogs (Blastro) v Essendon Bombers (Val)
3.9.27 (Q1) 3.2.20
8.10.58 (Q2) 6.6.42

7.11.53 (Q3) 8.10.58
14.11.95 (Q4) 11.14.80
Richmond held on against a late charge by the Hawks, the Dogs totally outplayed the Bombers and looked a totally different team to last week, and the Cats looked a good thing in the final quarter but the home ground advantage told in the end. Some very exciting games though!
