They pro..."Wild strawberries have taken over a flowerbed about 6ft square and overflowed along the path. Pretty flowers but as I’ve said I hate strawberries. My husband loved them and there were always enough to freeze.

I generally don't freeze soft fruits, because of this. It's odd...but I don't like many berries at all...can't abide Raspberries in their natural form (will eat them once the seeds are removed..i.e. in jams/perserves etc), blueberries, gooseberries, pretty much all the berries..even though they aren't actually berries! Like a banana & apple though..they are berries!

We had loads of raspberries too, which I also hate. The only fruit I like uncooked are melon and pineapples. Apples, blackcurrants and redcurrants I Iove in a pie with custard.
The smaller strawberries always taste better,We picked the larger ones as easier to fill your punnet.

One family,both had the chicken pox,got rid of that and the other family has shingles.it was worse at the beginning of the year when the twins both had head lice,waist length hair 😩😩😩
We used to regularly have checks by a Nit Nurse at both my Primary and my Secondary School - but thankfully I never had Nits ;o>
