SOLVED. Romance novel about a guy who is in love with someone he shouldn't be in love with. Spoiler ahead. [s]

The book starts off with letting us know the main characters are cousins but get separated due to the girl wanting the best for him. He moves to LA and becomes an app developer. He comes to Australia again for his brother's wedding but the first say he is there he hires someone to have sex with but makes the person call herself by his cousin's name. Spoiler alert: he finds out later that they aren't cousins because his mother was forced into a sexual relationship with his father's friend. He also has a gay assisstant who at first is in a horrible relationship but eventually gets together with a hot writer whose name starts with an "N" I believe. This book is part of a series so eventually they get together and the main girl moves to LA also. There is also a scene where on the main guy's private island they come to relax with everyone they know. This is all I can remember for now.

Is the app developer the guy who owns a private island? Is he the owner of a software company? What kind of apps does he develop?

I read this book about 1 to 2 years ago but I do not remember the publishing date. It's not Cousins by Lisa Lang Blakeney. In the book the guy owns the private Island and he is the owner of the software but I do not remember what the app was.

I also remember that the guy had 3 siblings and only 1 was truly their father's son while he and the youngest were not. Spoiler alert: I also remember that he wasn't originally going to go to America because he loved the main girl but the girl lied to him saying she didn't love him just so he wouldn't give up his future.
