Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments Meditation has been shown to have benefits, such as stress reduction. Do you meditate? Have you tried it? Or do you think it's bunk?

Matthew Williams (houseofwilliams) I certainly have and can swear for its effectiveness. I learned it as part of my Tae Kwon-Do training as a kid and it has served me well all the way through to adulthood.

I believe one needs to believe in effectiveness to fully feel and enjoy the results.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments I don't know if you have to believe in the effectiveness of something to gain the benefits. Sometimes you can give something a try and then objectively evaluate the results. An experiment.
