Yes, we do! I guess it’s a good thing I read close to 160 books last year. I wonder if I can top that this year.
Nice work! That's a massive number, my friend. Very proud of you.I think I hit 125 last year. My goal this year is 120, but I'm currently nearly 20 books ahead of schedule. If I can keep up that pace, I'll be really happy with my final tally.
I was on medical leave and partial bedrest from July until January so I had a lot of extra time last year. My goal this year is 130 and I’m at 51 so far, 27 ahead of schedule. I’m hoping to work most of this year but may be having surgery again in fall.
Wow, Tiffany, I'm so sorry about all the medical issues! That sounds really rough. Yet, there's an incredible amount of joy to be found in suffering. I hope that has been your experience, as well. Keep us posted on the surgery, if you think about it. I'd love to pray you through it, but I won't probably remember without reminding, considering that's half a year away.
It really was my experience, as well. It gave me lots of extra time with my kids, as well as extra prayer and reading time. And, I did manage to lose the weight I wanted (and then some lol). And God used it to teach me a lot about patience and being able to just be. I also caught up on a lot of rest. I don’t always sleep well but I got extra sleep during parts of last year.
Wow. Tiffany, that is quite a testimony of God's great gifts. Thank you for sharing! I'm so grateful He was with you and blessed you so beautifully through that tough time. May He continue to bestow joy upon you.
Well done on finishing your book so quickly, Tiffany!I am currently working on my review for my horse/standalone book. That should be up within the hour.
I just started with Bound. Not sure how long it will take me ... this isn't going to be my best week for reading. But I'm trying!
You can do it, Kell! Remember, we don't have to have this first book done in the first week. No team can get a bingo yet. We want to stay on track as much as possible, but life does happen and it's wise to grant ourselves a little grace in those moments. Enjoy your time in the book this week.
We each have to read a book for that one. It can be any book that is at least one hundred pages and not a cookbook, manga, etc.
Well done, Kimberly!Only two more reviews to go in order to get our horse rectangle stamped. We're really cruising now!
The second category is TREE (4).Options:
1. Tree on cover or in title
2. 4th book in a series
3. Begins with an F (for FOUR)
Looking through my books now.
I'm thinking I'm going to use this one:A Borrowed Dream by Amanda Cabot
But that may not be an option - gonna check with Melanie - so I'll look for an option 2 just in case. :)
Thank you! I also have A Borrowed Dream and The Lost Castle on my review list. I’m really enjoying these review books. I hope you enjoy yours, too.
Thanks! I hope so too. Aren't review books (mostly) fun?! (I say mostly because I've found a few duds that way.)
They really are. I’ve only found a couple, so far, that weren’t at least mediocre. I’ve had 2,maybe 3 ARC’s that I just couldn’t finish. Mostly I’ve found some amazing authors. And I’ve made some new friends, as well. So, when you add in that it kept me occupied which I was on bedrest last year, it’s been a blessing all around. ☺️💕
I changed my book for this category. I had started reading
Wednesday night and it wasn't until I finished it this morning that I realized there is a big beautiful tree on the cover.I hope this is ok. I am going to post it if you all agree.
HUGS
I'm currently reading a book,
, that might work for the new category (there appear to be trees in the background). If it doesn't work, I'll find something else. :)

Kimberly, if you had at least 100 pages left to read when the category was called, then I see no problem with that. Congrats on finishing so quickly! Looks like you have plenty of time to work on the free space book over the next week.Tiffany, I'm glad the ARCs have been such a blessing to you, particularly during all the bedrest.
Megan, that's about as much of a tree as was on the cover of the Cabot book that's been approved by Melanie, so I think that book should work well for this category. Happy reading!
My free space book is going to be The Innkeeper's Daughter. Can't link to it from this device, but I will later. :)
Next cat is KEY (2).I'll be reading Daisies are Forever by Liz Tolsma, the second book in her Women of Courage series. I started it yesterday but am only on page 73.
I haven't started my tree book yet, but it's up next on my Kindle.
What will you all be reading for key? How are your other books coming along?
Ugh, I'm getting behind! I'm about 70% through with my free space book and I haven't started "tree" yet. I have no idea what to do with "key" ... I think I have a book 2 in my eARCs that hasn't been read, though.
No worries, Kellyn. I haven't started my tree book yet, either. Just keep after it, and I'm sure we'll catch up soon. :)Kimberly, that book looks interesting. I hope you enjoy it!

That site is so addicting! And I'll have plenty of books to read for the rest of my life, when I combine my NG, paperback, other Kindle, and audio books. Yet, I'm always finding new ones I *must* read... or at least obtain.
