Glad to know it's not just me!!

Staci | 1071 comments Way to go team! We have our first chip (horse).

For key, I have The Key on the Quilt (The Quilt Chronicles #1) by Stephanie Grace Whitson

However, I am more likely to read the second book in a series. I have a plethora of options. :-)

The category has been called. I can sleep in peace now. :-)

message 53: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments For second in series (key) I will be reading A Song Unheard (Shadows Over England, #2) by Roseanna M. White

message 54: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Depending if we are allowed to count The (t for two) as the word the book starts with, I will either read:

The Five Times I Met Myself by James L. Rubart or
When Dreams Cross (Second Chances, #2) by Terri Blackstock (2nd in the series).

message 55: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments I loved A Song Unheard and The Five Times I Met Myself. Great choices!!

message 56: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I plan to read This Wilderness Journey (Heart of the Mountains, #2) by Misty M. Beller which works for "T" or 2nd in a series.

message 57: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Happy Friday team!! I’ll be reading The Heart’s Appeal which is the second in the London Beginnings series.

message 58: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Yeah! Friday and next weekend is long weekend :-)

Should finish my tree book this weekend and will start on my "key" book :-)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments We are moving on along with these books! Hopefully the next few categories will let us start working on a bingo. :)

I read this book last year and immediately thought of it when the category for key was called...too bad I had already read it! The Key to Yesterday by Charles Neville Buck

message 60: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments Hey guys! I'm going to read A Biscuit, a Casket (Pawsitively Organic Mystery, #2) by Liz Mugavero for the latest theme because its the 2nd book in a series. :)

message 61: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments Finished This Wilderness Journey (Heart of the Mountains, #2) by Misty M. Beller for Key (2nd in series/starts with T)

message 62: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Hello all! I finished my key book as well. We are doing great!!

message 63: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments We are doing great! I'm working on my key book also. Anyone else eager for Thursday for the next announcement?

message 64: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments Yes, can't wait to see what it is. :) Also, I'm almost done with my free space book, sorry for the hold up on that! :-p

message 65: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Great job, Dizzy!

I'm so impressed with our team for having two categories finished already. :)

Thanks Hannah! :) I'm enjoying the team as well!

message 70: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Next category

Book or letter (2)
Options for completing this category:
1: read a book with a Book OR letter on the cover or in the title.
2: read a book that is the 2nd book in its series
3: read a book that starts with the letter T (for Two/2)

I'm going for reading a book that is 2nd in its series. I have loads of those, but will probably read When Dreams Cross (Second Chances, #2) by Terri Blackstock

message 71: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Woohoo! New category!!

I have more "book" options than I realized:
The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay Holding the Fort (Fort Reno #1) by Regina Jennings Dying to Read (The Cate Kinkaid Files, #1) by Lorena McCourtney Head in the Clouds by Karen Witemeyer

And plenty of second in series and "T" options. Not sure what I'll pick yet...

Happy reading all!

All your options looks amazing :-)

message 73: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Thanks Sarita! Love when there are plenty of good options. :-)

message 74: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments I'm probably going to read the book I meant to last category. I grabbed a copy of Treacherous Trails and dove right in, so I'll be counting it for key when I finish (halfway through).

message 75: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I think I will be reading The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay for the book challenge. I say "think" because I have started reading it and it is a bit slow for me right now. I'm going to see how it goes and if I want to continue. If I decide it isn't the right book for me, I will switch to The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck by Bethany Turner with the letter "T" option.

message 76: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments I promise you will not find The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck slow. So entertaining!

message 77: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments Staci wrote: "I promise you will not find The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck slow. So entertaining!"

Yes, I have heard that it is really fun! So...I'm giving this other one a little bit of a go, but will switch if I can't get into it. I've heard that the Sarah Hollenbeck one has some laugh out loud moments!

message 78: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments Hey guys! I'm going to read Banana Chocolate & Murder (Oceanside Mystery #2) by Susan Gillard for this week because it's the 2nd in a series. :)

message 79: by Brittany (last edited Apr 02, 2018 08:13AM) (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I finished the book for "BOOK" category. I began with one book, but ended up not finishing it. I switched to The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck by Bethany Turner and used it for the "T" option. And I guess it could even kind of count for book/letter as there is a manuscript being typed on the typewriter on the cover! But it definitely works for "T".

message 80: by Hannah (last edited Apr 02, 2018 08:15AM) (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments I'm reading several right now that would work, so whichever I finish first will be what I post. This week was a fairly easy category for me!

message 81: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments I changed my book for "Book" to The Pharaoh's Daughter (Treasures of the Nile, #1) by Mesu Andrews

I was on page 87 when the category was called and thanks to the long-weekend I could finish this :-)

message 82: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Brittany & Sarita, glad you both enjoyed your "book" books. I enjoyed both of them!!

Just finished my "book" novel with The Kremlin Conspiracy. Ready for our next category. :-)

message 83: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Great Staci :-)

And it is almost time for a new category :-)

message 84: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Eyeglasses (1)

Options for completing this category:
1: read a book with eyeglasses on the cover or in the title (e.g. Strand of Deception (Justice Seekers, #3) by Robin Caroll). I will accept sunglasses as well.
2: read a book that is the 1st book in its series
3: read a book that starts with the letter O (for One/1)

message 85: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments I'm going to read Pounced (The Sierra Files #1) by Christy Barritt because the female character is wearing eyeglasses on the cover, and it is a short one so that I can get to the next book I planned on reading :-)

message 86: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Good strategy Sarita!

At the beginning of this challenge, the category that had me wondering the most if I had any books that would work is "eyeglasses" and now it's been called. :-)

In looking through my Kindle, I do have two non-fiction books that would work.

I'm going to use The Lost Castle though. I am currently reading it and am not very far along. I have about three hundred pages remaining so that fits the 100 pages or more remaining requirement. The Lost Castle is the first book in a series.

The Lost Castle (The Lost Castle #1) by Kristy Cambron

Happy reading all!

That looks like a great one Staci. Saw a lot of goof reviews for this.

message 88: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I am going to be reading Kappy King and the Puppy Kaper (An Amish Mystery #1) by Amy Lillard as it is the first in a series and I have only read 28 pages so far.

message 89: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I finished Kappy King and the Puppy Kaper (An Amish Mystery #1) by Amy Lillard for the eyeglasses category (first in a series).

message 90: by Bess (new)

Bess | 2584 comments I did that too Brittany! I was on page 219 of 360! Books currently reading that fit into the category with 100+ pages left are the best, eh?!

message 91: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dizzy_booknerd) | 249 comments Hey guys!! I'm going to read Footprints in the Frosting (Holly Hart, #1) by Laura Pauling this week, as its the first in a series. :)

message 92: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Woohoo! Just finished my "eyeglasses" novel.

The Lost Castle (The Lost Castle #1) by Kristy Cambron

message 93: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments I changed my book. I read Where There's Smoke (Montana Fire, #1) by Susan May Warren - First in the series.

The book I first said I would read just wasn't for me.

message 94: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Woohoo! Our next category, Fence (3), was called early.

I will probably read A Chance at Forever (Teaville Moral Society, #3) by Melissa Jagears . It's the third in the series.

message 95: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Oh, nice! Staci, that's an excellent book! :) I just caught up on my reading and will be posting reviews tonight.

message 96: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Good to hear Hannah! I enjoyed the first two in the series.

message 97: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments Yeah! Was waiting a while for the 3rd in a series to be called :-). I will read Guilt by Association (A Murder in the Mountains, #3) by Heather Day Gilbert - it is the 3rd in the series

message 98: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Sarita, that series has been on my TBR for a while...maybe later this year.

message 99: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments It is a very good cozy mystery. I enjoyed it a lot. I totally forgot about the last book last year - oops!

message 100: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments I'll be reading Things I Never Told You by Beth K. Vogt for Fence because it starts with T. This book is excellent!!
