Awww, thanks!
I’m glad you found some good books for this one :)

That London one looks really interesting... shall look out for it!

Nicole | 1295 comments I have an odd question. Are we going by the goodreads top shelves or the actual definition? I ask because most memoirs have been shelved as biographies. They technically aren't- they are autobios. Please let me know! :)

Nicole | 1295 comments does this work for buildings on the cover?

The Land between Two Rivers Writing in an Age of Refugees by Tom Sleigh

I know we have a ton of tents on this but I see some more solid structures in the background?

Yeah, in an ideal world it wouldn't've included autobios, but for moderators' sanity, we just go by the GR MPG.

If there's MPG of Biography, then it's fine to use, regardless of any other slightly contradictory MPGs (such as Memoir or Autobiog...)

Feel free, of course, not to pick a memoir!

this is another one that isn't really in the spirit of my intention (being a reference to the architectural links with the exhibitions, and thinking of more permament, ogle-worthy buildings), but the prefab huts are man-made constructions with - on one at least - doors so you can get into them and use as a building (rather than it being an odd monument/statue/artwork).

So, you can use it.

Nicole | 1295 comments I’m sorry it’s not in the spirit. This topic just really interests me since I taught about it. I get what you intended. Thanks for approving

message 71: by Cat (new)

Cat (cat_uk) | 3448 comments It's not nonfiction, so no. Sorry.

I'm not 100% convinced that the column thing is a building, but there are buildings (just) discernible in the background, so one way or the other - approved!
