I decided straight off that he was yucky and he was the murderer. I turned out to be right but about the wrong murder:)
Lol! So did I, Phrynne. He was just too overbearing, ready to step into Blackwell’s life, personal and professional.
Amos made my skin crawl so I was suspicious of him from the start. He certainly wormed his way in quickly.
I didn't like this guy at all. His offering to pay Frank to find the killer just left me thinking he was trying to make himself look innocent.

He was very unpleasant from the start. At first I thought he was too suspicious to be the culprit, but then when Calvin died he became my number one suspect.
He definitely was written to be unlikable. I thought he was a bit too smarmy but knew he wasn't Blackwell's killer even though he was pushing so hard for it to be Calvin. Which was suspicious as was his devotion to Mrs. Blackwell.
