I already have the first two, though I haven't read either. I'm particularly interested in THE BLAZING WORLD because it's supposed to show how tough it is for women in the art world.
Maybe one of those should be our next group read ;)

Also, I only see books from Amazon. Is there a venue for independently distributed books?
I think all these titles will be available in independent bookstores. I certainly didn't buy either of the ones I have from Amazon.I'll be away in Sept. and not able to participate, so I'm hoping the titles that interest me will be picked for Oct. or after.
Well not all the booker prize nominees have been published yet, which is why some are up on amazon for preorder but not available elsewhere.

Not that any decisions should be made around a single reader's schedule!
Hehe Kat I'm sure we can hold off for a short time so you can participate too! Lots of other books to keep us busy!
