I started and finished
over the weekend and I was a bit disappointed with Eadlyn but it was good overall. Now I'm restarting
.
I'm just about to finish up Immaculate.
I'm still reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm going to be starting Making Pretty any day now, and I'll probably read Emancipated soon too.

Since I last posted I've finished
,
, and
4 more books left in the Bone series, a fantasy both epic and hilarious
Locke and Key is... well kind of indescribable. Recommended for "mature" readers. So long as you feel you fall under than umbrella and are not opposed to reading comics, I highly recommend.
And Curse of the Wendigo was just amazing. I really, really like The Monstrumologist, but its sequel blew it out of the water, IMO.
Next up for me,
I am currently reading
,
, and
. I am almost Done with Ignite Me. It's part of a read along that I am in. I got bored with Girl of Nightmares and I am actually debating on if I shall finish it. And I am really enjoying An Ember in the Ashes as it is also really good and part of a read along that I am part of.
I finished
last night, and while the first two books were excellent, this one won me over just a little more because of the way Yancey focused on certain relationships and how he made me flip flop on my opinions of certain characters.Up next
, a cape and tights story by an Emmy winning TV writer. Should be fun :)
Haven't posted here in a while and I'm currently reading a bunch of books oops.Listening to
and reading the ebook of
at workThen just been alternating between these few at home. Not in love with any of them so I just keep rotating haha
I just started the first few chapters of
though! Super excited to finally start this series!
Just finished
and am blown away by how good it was. Wasn't ready for that at all, I got it as something light to break up my darker reads. It is, IMO, every bit as good as the Lunar Chronicle and Monstrumologist books I've been reading recently. Different, but equal in terms of how much I enjoyed. I doubt I'll convince many to check it out. Trust me, I almost passed on it. But if you do skip it, you're passing on what might very well end up being my favorite read of 2015.Up next, finishing off the Monstrumologist with
*excited*
Just finished
Not my favorite series, but one that stands alone in a very unique way. I doubt I'll ever read another series too similar to this. Fantastic. Now I'm starting
Finished
today. I quite liked it, but not quite as much as I liked the other 3 books. Still, very good. I'm excited for Winter :)Tonight I'm gonna start

That's how I felt about Fairest. I really think it would have worked better as a full-fledged prequel. That would have been amazing. :)

I ended up at the weird conclusion that, for me, Fairest would have been better if it was either much shorter or much longer. I did enjoy it though, as you know since you had a similar experience with it :]
I finished
today. Bone is phenomenal. I don't know how I've been a comic reader all my life and never got to this series before now.Up next,
Angie wrote: "Tommy that is a really good book."It sounds like exactly the read I've been looking for. I got the second book as well :]
I'll come back and share thoughts once I finish it. I read the first chapter of Anna and am getting a Supernatural vibe from it. If that keeps up, I'll end up loving the book almost for sure.
I just finished
I liked it, but didn't love it. There were more pros than cons though and I did become invested in the characters so I'll for sure read the sequel.Up next I'm gonna read the first book in a series I've meant to read for years
Just finished Midnight for Charlie Bone I really liked it, but can't go so far as to say "loved it". I am intrigued by the rest of the series, though.Up next, some comics reading Bone, Vol. 8: Treasure Hunters while I decide what novel to read next.
Up next I'll either read
(the final book in the Bone series, not counting the 2 prequels and 1 companion book(I'll be reading those as well)) or
Currently rereading the Study series by Maria V. Snyder. I read them in high school and I all of the sudden had a craving to re-live in the world of Ixia!
Michelle wrote: "@Deanna I love the study series. Did you read the newest book Shadow Study?"No!! That's part of the reason I decided to re-read the series!
Just finished
.Reading
and listening to
Rereading
out loud to my daughter because I'm obsessed with it.
