Tommy wrote: "I'll definitely come back and share thoughts when I'm done :]. As of now(slightly less than 100 pages in) I can say that the plot is a bit slow to get going, but I lover Stiefvater's writing and world building so much that it isn't bothering me. Also, her Raven Boy books started a little slow and I ended up loving them. I guess she just starts in first gear haha."

Awesome. I have heard that Maggie Stiefvater's writing is amazing and that was one of the reasons I wanted to give this one a try.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 318 comments I finished The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater earlier. I wasn't completely in love with it all the way through, but HOLY CRAP that ending was perfection.

Up next Nightmares! (Nightmares!, #1) by Jason Segel Not even 100% sure what it's about(assuming bad dreams play a part haha) but it's by Jason Segel, one of my favorite actors(along with co-author Kirsten Miller, so I figured it was worth a go :0)

I love Jason Segel's acting. If this book is as funny as he is, it'll be great. I'm definitely adding it!

Tika (fangirlconfessions) | 70 comments description I just started this last night, and OMG it's sooo freaking good so far! I definitely doubted Sarah J Maas's writing from my experience with Throne of Glass!

I'm only 2 chapters in and so far there's been a solid laugh, but a lot more feels, surprisingly. I'll come back and post thoughts once I'm finished. Also, it's gonna be a series, apparently. Or at the very least, there's a sequel coming out.

Even though it wasn't "brilliant", I'm very curious so I'll be giving it a go. :-)

It was honestly better than I could've anticipated and really creative. I think you'll enjoy it and I have a ton of faith that the next book will be better.

Well, I finished More Than This by Patrick Ness and it was AMAZING... but also super confusing and emotional. I recommend if you're interested and don't mind a bit of (okay, a lot of) an open-ended ending. Now all I have to do is fathom how to review this thoroughly complicated well of emotions!

Up next I'll probably finish some comics before deciding between The Curse of the Wendigo (The Monstrumologist, #2) by Rick Yancey and Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer
