I am still working on the 50 States of Young Adult Fiction Reading list and I am liking the variety of books so far. I just finished Where Things Come Back (Arkansas) and tomorrow I will be picking up Bloodlines (California) from the library. I can't pick it up today since the library is closed, so it looks like I will be crocheting and reading more of Ender's Game.

Finished: Clockwork Prince THE JESSA AND WESSA FEEEELS!!!
Started: The Book Thief
Up Next: Clockwork Princess
If I can find it at our library
      I just started

. The beginning made me think the author just wanted to see some of his words on paper, but things have settled down now.

Since I last posted I finished

(really fun series, each book better than the last) and

(3 more volumes to go. Such good stuff).I'm gonna start
tonight, and then up next I'll read

and finish the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series.

      Finished

and while I cannot recommend it to all here(*it's firmly in the r-rated category), the story ended up being a lot more beautiful than it had any right to be.And now to focus in on

I did not like it at all. I gave up after 40 pages. Super cheesy, "girl is perfect and quiet forever until meets guy and changes everything" haha
      Finally finished

Not the best book in the series, all and all, but the ending got me like whaaaaat?!Also finished
 and

. I've been meaning to read these comics for years and am so glad I finally started. So far it's equal parts hilarious and epic.Up next I'm gonna read
to finish up the Vengekeep Prophecies trilogy. If it's as good as the first two, this could be one of my favorite series.

I'm currently reading "ACID" by Emma Pass and "Or give me death" by Ann Rinaldi So far they are both pretty great!
@ Erin Lynn. Are you liking it? I really liked Night, but haven't read Dawn and DayIt just seems weird to me that the first one is not fiction but the others are.
@ Angie. That's why I don't buy it. I don't want to read it 'cause I'm afraid it will seem totally weird and won't end up enjoying it.

I'm liking it, but I think I'm only going to read Night. I have to read it so I can tutor next week, and the three book bind up was the only one the store had.

I just finished book 3 of the Vengekeep Prophecies trilogy

. Seriously, guys, you NEED to read these books. They deserve to be one of those series like Percy Jackson that so many people gush about. In fact, I prefer it to Percy Jackson.Up next

      I'm currently reading

, but I'm kind of in a slump with it. Not because it's not good (I'm not far enough in to have formed an opinion yet), it's just due to other books. I've wanted to read it for ages and I've seen SO many rave reviews about it that I just really, really don't want it to let me down. So if any of you guys have read it and liked it I'd love some encouragement to get back into it!
@ Tommy message 794. Let me know what you think of
. It's been recommended to me before but I've heard some less-than-great things about it so I'm kind of on the fence about it. :)

As of now(slightly less than 100 pages in) I can say that the plot is a bit slow to get going, but I lover Stiefvater's writing and world building so much that it isn't bothering me. Also, her Raven Boy books started a little slow and I ended up loving them. I guess she just starts in first gear haha.
