Eve, how did you like Uglies?
It was alright. I mean it was pretty good. I don't know. Everyone has their own opinion about it so I don't know if you'll like it. Oh my gosh that was the most unhelpful review! :P
I hope I'm not sticking my nose in or anything but I read the Uglies trilogy in a weekend and it was the most infuriating thing I've ever read. I loved the premise (kind of, to keep this short) but the writing and the characters made me want to scream and throw things. I figure the worst books are the ones I'm indifferent towards, that are forgettable. This one wasn't that. I am really holding out hope for an Uglies tv series or something. It was a while ago so I'm a little foggy on what exactly was so awful to me but it's worth a read I think, quick anyway. It's a bit preachy on environmentalism/veganism/sustainability in a way that put me off a bit. Seemed like the author thought this dystopia was some sort of ideal world in a way. But after all that I'd still say worth a shot.

Ha ha! I think I'll put Uglies on the back burner for now.

The covers for the next two books are awesome.

And yes, it infuriates me that they don't match.

Right now I don't know which side I'll be on. I'm halfway through it. At first, I liked it then I disliked it. Now I like it again. So, I agree that it will be interesting to see which side I end up on :)
@tikya it is a great book.I'm reading it as a 're read I tooread it last year but never continued the series because I started on another book and the new insurgent movie coming out inspired me to finish the series

I agree wholeheartedly! I love it because it's really when things start to get dark.
