Introduce Yourself to the Group - 2018!
Hi, my name is Lucia and I'm from Argentina. I'm 20 years old and I'm on my second year of college. I like reading romane, fantasy and YA. My reading goal for this year is 55 books.
Hello, I'm Ronnie. I've actually known goodreads for years but didn't get around it fully until last month. I've been reading since I was 12 and I've read hundreds of books but because I didn't develop the habit of making track of those books, I mostly can't remember them anymore. So I've learned my lesson and starting from scratch; I'm still trying to recall those books and I remember some of them recently so my book list will probably require work for years. My genre preference are romance, drama, witty humor, contemporary romance, historical romance (if it's good) and non-fiction (I don't like fantasy or not-true-to-life plots)
My reading challenge for 2018 is to read 50 books but I hope to read more. As it looks like it, I still need a lot of catching up.
I'm trying to review the books that I have finished reading. I'm starting to read the recent books released this year and hopefully will make my way backwards.

Hey I’m Jordan! I’m from Indiana! I like reading a wide variety of things. I found this group because I was just randomly searching and found this. My reading goal is 30 books in 2018. I thought I should probably keep my goal a little on the low side since I knew I would be busy with college.

Hi all.My name is Brittany and I am from Ohio. I joined goodreads a couple of years ago, but just got into joining groups and doing challenges this year as I finally feel like I have the time for it. My original goal was to read 52 books this year, but as I have already read 41 I've upped it to 100. Fantasy is definitely my favorite genre, but I've read a lot of different types of books this year, sometimes its feels good to get out of your comfort zone.
Hi all!My name is Katie. I used to be a very avid reader when I was younger. I noticed I fell off this hobby right around the beginning of college. I was working a lot (55+ hours a week), in school full-time, bought a house, got married etc.
I've missed reading so much so I got a new Goodreads accounting and am excited to begin participating in all kinds of bookclubs!
I live in California. About 45 minutes south-east of Sacramento, in a smaller town a bit north of Stockton. I've lived here for about three years now. I grew up about an hour south-east in Calaveras County.
Recently, I've been very interested in non-fiction. I love constantly learning new things about different places, topics, or books that help you learn new things about yourself.
When I do read fiction, its usually of the thriller/mystery genre.

Hey, y'all. I'm Crystal, originally from Massachusetts, but I now call Gainesville, GA home. It's the chicken capital of the world.
I have always loved reading, as far back as I can recall. I read mostly fiction. High fantasy, historical fiction, thrillers, and I have a particular fascination with witchcraft and magic. I love books that have a lot of world building in them. Some of my favorites include The Black Jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop and everything by Sarah J. Maas.
My goal for this year was 24, but I'm trying to get my NetGalley feedback percentage up after neglecting it for a while, so I'm likely to reevaluated and reset a higher goal.
Besides reading, I love cooking and my cats. I'm hoping to learn to garden soon.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi All! I'm 27 (married with two littles) from Australia!
I am a sucker for YA fantasy and Historical Paranormal Romance, yep weirdly specific hehe But I branch out to a little bit of everything!
I read 200 books last year but things are a bit stressful and crazy this year (eg my eldest started school) so I lowered my goal to 150 this year :)|
It helps that I am an audiobook addict so I go through alot more that way

I plan on reading American Psycho, Brave New World, The King in Yellow (because of True Detective) and many other along those lines.

Hey Everyone ! I'm Gilles, 26 yo from France. I'm an engineer, traveling from country to country. I've been on goodreads for quite a while but never used it. I've been trying to re-ignite my love for reading but couldn't manage it. I think I'm on the right path now, I started very lightly for the 2018 challenge (5 books) but I count on increasing the amount in 2019 ! I'm into self-help books (currently reading How To Be A Stoïc), Horror books (just finished The Shining, about to begin Doctor Sleep), Biographies or general science/history books (reading the Art of War, bought A briefer history of time).Hope to fit in the Goodreads community !

Hi all! I'm Aamna, I'm 21 and from Australia. I was reading contemporary fiction for years until I started Goodreads and now I try and read pretty much anything if it's rated well/the synopsis interests me. I found this group trough one of my GR friends who posted about it. My reading goal is 65 this year and I'm luckily on track despite all the assignments I have from uni! I'm currently overwhelmed by the amount of books on my TBR and this group seems like the best thing for helping me get through it by recommending books to read every month. The last book I've finished is Ready Player One and I'm currently in-between several books trying to find a good one to get hooked on!
Please feel free to give recommendations + don't hesitate to add me as a friend :)
