Blagica, I read a wonderful book, "Love Saves the Day". It's written from the perspective of Prudence, a cat, who lived with Sarah, the lady who rescued her. One day, Sarah doesn't return home, and Prudence goes to live with Sarah's daughter, Laura and her new husband. I highly recommend it, even though it made me cry at times.

Hi my name is Jenny. I'm a mother of 2 year old twin girls which take up most of my time lol. But I try to make time to read everyday after they go to bed. I'm from Kentucky. I started a small book club for me and my friends which I'm really proud of. We all take turns choosing a book for the group to read and then discuss so we all end up reading books that we probably would not have read on our own. Every year I set a reading goal of 25 books because a long time ago I either read or heard somewhere that if a person reads at least 25 books a year, they are considered well read.
hi i just joined a few weeks ago and i'm working out how to navigate this site. not that easy!
anyhow, i'm returning to reading after many years and many health problems but now i can focus on my books although my health problems persist - grrr
yah for reading! great website. i choose my books for winning literary prizes; also some on the gr challenge list. it is lovely to 'meet' you all!
xx

Welcome again best of luck with your goal.

I just got into listening this year and even though I still physically read more than I listen I’ve found that I enjoy them quite a bit.

I go through spells of listening to music all the time and then getting tired of that and listening to audio books. I find that I have to really like the narrator's voice though to make it through an audio book.
Good evening all!My name is Cameron, and I'm 22 from southern Texas. I like to read anything I can get my hands on, preferably fiction but I also enjoy a good nonfiction if the topic interests me. That means though that I'm also open to any recommendations from anyone!
I was looking for a book club in which I could relentlessly talk about books at length, I'm a slight bookaholic, and I found this group through the book club tab on the group page.
My current reading goal for the year is 120 books, meaning reading 10 books a month. Life got a little crazy a month ago and put me about 15 books behind though, so this is also me currently playing catch up.
It's good to meet y'all and I hope that we can talk book soon!
Hello everyone! I realize I'm late to the 2018 reading challenge but I do set a reading challenge every year and am thrilled to find others who do as well. I live in New York City and read on average 100 books a year, which is always my yearly goal too. I'm making progress towards my goal this year and am fully confident I'll reach it. I read a lot of fiction but like nonfiction too if it grabs me and isn't too dry. As I'm starting a business in 2018 I have been reading a lot of business books this year which is a whole new category for me but I love learning something new.

Hi Cameron welcome to the group happy to have you. I Just finished Fail Until You Don't it is nonfiction/self help but really funny. We have lots to do here. If you want to talk about books on top of our challenges we have group and buddy reads. Please look around and join us. As far as being behind I wouldn't worry about the number as long as you are having fun.

How far along are you with your 100 books? I hope that you have a blast here with us please let us know if you need anything.
Hello! I had an informal reading challenge since January of this year, so I'm glad to be active on Goodreads and a part of this group! I'm from South Carolina and love all types of books, but have a soft spot for fiction (historical fiction), nonfiction (memoirs/biographies) and thrillers. This is my first time joining a group so I'm excited to link up with other book lovers. Open to absolutely any recommendations as I pursue my 51+ book challenge.

Hello everyone, I'm Owl. I'm a challenge junkie. There, I said it! 😊
Like many of you I'm passionate about everything books, especially doing challenges as it gives me a plan as to what to read next from teetering tower of tbr books!
A tiny bit about met that isn't in my profile: I'm a lighthearted owl with a keen sense of humor, the upbeat clean, sometimes silly, and fun type, not the other kind, whatever it's called. I really enjoy sharing all things books with other readers and enjoy seeing what everyone else is reading (this is partly why I'll still have books to read when I'm 101 years old.
This group looks very fun and is stacked with delightful challenges. It's nice to meet you! 🦉
So once I'm cleared for take off by the moderators, I'd like to sign up for some challenges!

Thank you so much, Blagcia! We've got lots of books in common! How do you pronounce your name? It's very different! =o)
Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and I am from Utah. I love to read so I looked around for some different group suggestions here on Goodreads and came upon this one! It sounded kind of fun, so I decided to join. I like reading all kinds of different books and don’t have a specific favorite genre. However, lately I have mostly been reading fiction and psychology books! My gpa for this year is to read at least 60 books and I am almost halfway to that goal.

Happy to have you here welcome again and happy reading!
Hi everyone! I'm Eryn and I'm from the Midwest-ish US (I moved around a lot). I love reading, but I'm a pretty slow reader and get distracted really easily – I can't read if there's pretty much any distracting noise around, or if my thoughts are too loud. But I'm trying to get back on track!I used to be really into Fantasy, but lately I've been getting more into detective Thriller/Mystery books. I also like Sci Fi and science books, especially about animals and birds.
I'm actually doing a summer challenge – I have 12 books for the challenge, and if I don't finish it this summer I'll continue reading them after. If I do finish them in time, I might add some more books, we'll see. I just wanted to join something where I can talk to other readers and maybe get some encouragement with my challenge. :)

Hello everyone! I’m Satin and this is the first group I’ve joined on goodreads! I’m obsessed with reading and I love to keep up with my books. I enjoy reading different subjects but tend to stick to a specific genre, which is why I’m excited to participate here! This group looks really fun. I’ve been looking for a community for readers and I think I found the one! I’m looking forward to participating with you all! Have an awesome day!
Hello, I'm Ann from South Florida. I've been on Goodreads for awhile, but this is the first group I've joined since, starting my first challenge a few days ago. I chose 52 books to read by years' end. My favorite genres are historical fiction, non-fiction (everything), contemporary, book club, thriller, mystery and classical literature.
Hi readers! I’m Erin—mom of two teenage boys and a 4th/5th grade teacher from Maine. I spend a lot of time chatting with kiddos about their reading, so as a result I trek across thousands of pages of children’s book/YA each year. When I can read for myself, contemporary fiction is always on deck on my kindle.
