Fathers and Sons page count

I have an alternate cover of Fathers and Sons, ISBN 0140441476, that shows, according to the blurb on the outside back cover, a detailing of "Chambers" by the painter K. Zelentsov, on the front cover. This paperback edition has 294 numbered pages but ends on unnumbered page 295.

It is a Penguin Classic, reprinted in 1985 with the Romanes Lecture "Fathers and Children" by Isaiah Berlin.
