Larry Cooperman (newmillman) | 23 comments A huge source of information. They have given me great information about the canonization of Junipero Serra and the Catholic whitewashing of his reputation.
They have been invaluable to me. I think they tell the truth but understand their perspective.

Herman Yea I don’t doubt the source just too bad about his personal failing but targeting native women writers then threatening them to keep them quite well that’s what we call a dick move big time, lost a lot of respect for him over that

Mike & Lori M (mke__m) | 2 comments It'll be all over the news now that the women have gone public, at least it should be all over the news. Those are some courageous women to put their careers on the line like that. I'll be looking for a chance to read their work now.

Interesting that the thread turned immediately to canonization--that is part of the problem: one individual named as the representative of a diverse group is given too much power and influence.
