Basic how to for a specific group

This is a bit more complicated. Each group has their own rules and regulations.
On most Groups
1) You create a character or request a face claim of an already existing character (Usually its approved by a MOD before you can continue)
2) Request : Usually there is a thread where can specify what character/characters you have
3) Roleplay

Be sure that you read the groups instructions, some may ask for different things.
