We've already read The Autobiography of Henry VIII: With Notes by His Fool, Will Somers, in July and August 2014. (It's so long it got two months!)
I would like to nominateThe Survival of the Princes in the Tower: Murder, Mystery, Myth by Matthew Gregory Lewis
Perkin: A Story of Deception by Anne Wroe
Here's a link: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... .Not sure how much that helps, as I don't have an iPad and don't use the app if I can avoid it.
If anyone has a nomination to make, now is a good time to do so. I'll probably be closing them and opening the poll sometime later today.
Well, I will nominate The White Rose Murders and The Confident Hope of a Miracle: The True Story of the Spanish Armada, and close nominations.
The poll is now open. You'll find it at the bottom of the group's Home page, at the top of the group's Polls page, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1... .
If voting closed now (which it doesn't), the winner would be Elizabeth and Mary: Cousins, Rivals, Queens.
Jane Dunn's dual biography was indeed the winner, and we'll be discussing it here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
