As long as they lood legit I will accept them. I got a request a few days ago from someone that has been on GR since 2014 and had no books and no friends and sounded like an Arabic name. I didn't accept that one.

It's been months for me, but I'm going today!"
September- Labor Day weekend. When you work full time its a hard thing to do. Weekends are shopping and cleaning and family.

I accept random requests.

I love the theater but haven't gone since last summer.

It's been since the fall. I have to set something up.

I like the light. It can stay DST forever.

Never. I don't drink alcohol.

No one. I'm rooting for Loyola--Chicago now.

Yes. The weather is goofy. So much rain, flooding, untimely weather.

No. It's still cold.

It was feeling "spring-ish" a few days ago ... high temp around 50, sunny, and just a very light breeze. But today it's blustery and cold; rain in the forecast, but we're hovering right around freezing so the roads will be icy in the morning.

Tuesday, March 27: What's the first book you remember reading "all by myself!" ?
I clearly remember a book featuring Howdy Doody ... the wind blows his hat off and he chases after it through the forest. It was still mostly pictures. This was before I went to school, and I remember telling the teacher all about it during my evaluation before enrolling. (They were trying to decide if I should be in first grade or kindergarten, since I wasn't yet 6 yrs old ... they chose kindergarten. I was NOT happy.)
The first NON-picture book I remember was "B" Is for Betsy by Carolyn Haywood. I read all the books in that series - multiple times.

In December. On our way driving from Milwaukee to San Antonio, we stopped in Oklahoma City for a couple of days, and visited the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Museum. FANTASTIC!

Nothing big. Just home with the family.
Nothing at all ... just hubby and me, and we're just having chicken w/ olives & tomatoes over pasta. Regular evey-day fare.
Books mentioned in this topic
Don't Wake Me at Doyles (other topics)"B" Is for Betsy (other topics)
The Night Circus (other topics)
I usually only accept them from people in the same groups or friends/family. I have accepted a few who like many of the same books as me.
