How did everyone like the book? Did you finish? Are you still pressing through? Did you decide to give up?

Let us know what your final thoughts on the book were (and even if you haven't finished yet, please comment after you are done; these threads will be open all year for the books).

I will admit, I enjoyed the book way more than I thought I would. I liked the characters and it was interesting looking through someone else's eyes. I thought the ending was satisfying, even if I wonder how close it mirrors reality. But that's the joy of romance books- they can blur that line and you leave with a happy feeling in your heart.

Jodie Reha I just finished A Bollywood Affair and, like Joanna, enjoyed it more than I thought I would. There are some parts that read like a Harlequin romance and I was impatient to get through those parts. I liked the story, though, and I learned things about Indian culture. I was impressed that Mili made life decisions based on an arrangement made when she was 4 (for example, getting an education) made by other people, would may not have had her best interests in mind. She made some really good decisions that, in the end, did enrich her life apart from the arrangement. Having said that, I was still happy when she was "freed," as painful as it was for her. The ending was satisfying for me; I like happy endings and am sometimes a romantic. So much so, that it would have been fine with me if she was pregnant. I know, sorry. All in all, a good change from the type of book I have been reading lately (psychological thrillers). Now, on to All The Light We Cannot See! I have read about 10 pages.
