Two different author names for the same works

Whichever name he used to publish the first edition should be the primary author name on all editions. If he used a pen name on a later edition, we put that name in the 2nd author position, regardless of what is on the cover of the book.We do that so it can be combined.
Thanks, I'll do that! But do you (or anyone else) know why a second name was used? It definitely isn't a pen name...?

These editions are from public-domain publishers, and they often do very strange things with author names (spelling mistakes, using the full name that the author never published under, etc.). I have no idea where Libreville* comes from, but since it is on the cover, we have to add it.
*Wodehouse's middle name is Grenville.

Hoping that I asked this in the correct folder, I was just wondering what the policy is in this case :
Merging different editions of the same work "My Man, Jeeves" by P.G. Wodehouse, I noted that the same work was also published under a different author name. Therefore, I would like to know how this case should be handled, should the author and works stay separate or should they be merged, seeing that they are the same books? Also, I should add that the alternate author name under which the books were published is a wordplay on the original name of the author? Any ideas?
