Except for House of Cards."

I've never seen it. Is it a TV series? Is it serious? I don't watch TV much. I'm a bit boring like that.

Argh is right! That sounds like a fun character. If I ever get to writing fiction, one of my story ideas includes the mer-people. So, we'll see if it ever makes it to print! Glad readers are connecting strongly with your character in the latest novel!

D.M. Dutcher | 22 comments I don't think the No's are as big of an issue as people think. If you are targeting the kind of Christians open to reading SF, they'd be ok with a Halo/Marvel movie/Star Wars level of the above. Essentially modern pg-pg13 movies.

If you are aiming for homeschool-friendly, or amish grandma readers, you'd have to do all the No's and probably more. The bigger issue than the no's is the utter lack of market for any form of SF or fantasy in the Christian space, though.
