Kelseyc Was it just me or did anyone else find the plot of this book odd but not only that, but very predictable?

Miranda Moore I did find it predictable. I knew where it was going in terms of the pairings.

Marisa Ferreira I found the end predictable, and the plot odd in a very good way. Great characters btw

Shelby I couldn't even make it to the end, because I already knew who would end up with who. The predictability made it boring in my opinion.

Eliza I don't think it was supposed to be a big surprise who ends up together. I think the point was the personal growth of each character.

I agree!

Ending is surely predictable!! When Lindsey entered the story. I knew immediately that they'll end up together.

The book was odd, probably because of the anagram obsession and the theorem. I even thought that he'd eventually give up on the theorem. But he did manage to finish it, maybe working at least.

Daniel I found the plot not only odd and predictable, but very boring as well. I felt that the only necessary chapters are maybe the first and the last three. Everything else was unnecessary filler.

I have never agreed so much with a statement

Abby L I think this was a very predictable book. Most John Green books are that way. Most of his books are very alike.

Danielle Stop dogging John Green. We get it, You don't like his writing. Move on Dot Org.

I would not say that I do not like his writing. I just didn't like this one. I enjoyed "Looking For Alaska", and I'm currently on "Paper Towns" and I'm enjoying it so far. This particular book though, was not near as enjoyable. I found the protagonist to be particularly whinny and lacking in any character development. The most interesting character in this book is Lindsey Wells, and unfortunately she is just a character for the protagonist to reflect off of.
