March - Page to Screen in 2018

Thanks for the recommendation Kristin. It's actually one of the contenders I was considering, however, I'm so sick of books in multiple installments. Plus, It was one of the options I think I'll enjoy way more as a movie than as a book.
I definitely appreciate the comment :) I'll have to think about it for a few more days while I finish the one I'm currently reading :)

Congratulation Rachael! Out of curiosity, did you read an abridged version? aprox. 800 pages seems really short in comparison. But maybe it's just me, since I've only ever read the french :D
The TV-show is definitely on my radar to watch. If nothing else, simply because David Oyelowo is in it :)
Best of luck with your next pick! Have you decided which one it would be out of the possibilities you had?

The Cuckoo's Calling"
Welcome to the challenge and good luck Sahira! I hope you enjoy your pick for the month :)

Katherine, I'm a little confused about your post. Are you planning on reading 7 books or 10 books. Or have you read 7 out of 10 books? Or have you not read any yet, but are planning to read those you listed?
If you would please clarify, I'd appreciate it greatly so I can accurately add you to the list of participants :)

Happy Tuesday everyone :)

Once again, congratulations Rachael! You flew through the books for this monthly challenge. Way to go :)

A re-read of Ready Player One and I picked up Origin (which is on the first link, but google seems inconclusive on whether an adaptation is being released in 2018... but I picked it from the listopia so I'm sticking with it!)

As far as I know (from my inside person in the movie industry) it's still in development, so there haven't' been any updates regarding an actual release date. Wouldn't be the first time a Dan Brown novel didn't make its way to the big screen.
Did you enjoy Ready Player One as a re-read? :)

Welcome to the challenge, Allyson!
What will you be reading? Do you know yet?

It's in Pre-production so it'll likely be 2020 that it will be released.

Thank you!!"

Hi Lisa! They were both really fast reads. I liked Guernsey Literary... a lot... not so much Bird Box. That one wasn't to my taste.

I did, thanks Lisa. It's been over four years since I first read it so lots of it was exciting and surprising as I'd forgotten many of the little details. The 80s isn't my era so the cultural references it relies on that seem to make a lot of people either love or hate this book don't impact me too much, but I yet again found it an entertaining read.

I'm sorry to hear Bird Box wasn't for you. But there you go - can't win them all! :) Hope you have a great reading month otherwise, as well as the rest of the year.

That's great Janine! I can imagine after four years it must be like almost reading it anew :) And good to hear the references lost on you didn't prevent your enjoyment of it once again :)
Do you plan on watching the movie once it releases at the end of the month?

One down, one to go! You can do it, Megan! I hope you also enjoy your second pick for the challenge :)

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians. It wasn't much on my radar at all. I wouldn't have picked it up if not for this challenge and I'm really glad I did!
