"May we go to our bed?" I asked him, just wanting to be in his arms already and have a nice relaxing sleep, i kept on wondering why the djinn poison didn't work on me. It just hurt like hell

I looked at my tattered clothes and realized that i never really changed clothes or anything. I just didn't care about any of that non sense. I just wanted to make sure that Toni was alright and that this wasn't a dream.

She looks down at her clothes kind of shocked probably realizing they were messed up. She whispers to just leave her in her underwear. She starts to take off her shirt and I help her with it. I frown at the slightly bruises along her ribs.

I wasn't completely sure what he meant until i saw the bruises on my side. It didn't hurt because my ribs were healed up, and honestly i think he also healed my punctured lung. I'm breathing much more normally than i was when he found me.

I looked back at him a little bit and just closed my eyes a little more relaxed when he had his arms around me. I could feel the beating of his heart against my back and it made me much less nervous.

I wake up feeling like i had just gotten over a pot brownie dream when i moved around a bit and noticed that Toni was still holding me. I slip out of his hands and go straight to take a shower, i forgot to take one last night of how tired i was.

I slept well knowing my girl was safe in my arms. I wake up a bit as I feel her move out of my arms and then I hear the shower going. I yawn a little and stretch before I head over to my bathroom. I strip off my boxer's and slip into the shower.

I serve her the plate of pancakes when she tells me that i shouldn't change the subject anymore. "Look I am not teaming up with Potter. Whoever the hell is doing this dangerous exchanges to humans, I cannot stop them." I tell her just looking away.

"If the price to stop these idiots is seeing you taken and tortured... then i don't give a fuck about humans. They don't deserve my help or my concern." I tell her

"Yes, I have to go question the djinn and then I have meetings all day with the high witch council on what we are going to do. The leech's men informed me that these sellers are getting their hand on death omens and selling them to humans. This is a serious issue that need to be dealt with as soon as possible." I explain and sigh.

"That's why I want you to just stay here and relax where I know you are safe."

I just leaned against the dress drawer listening to him explain to me how he was just going to go out and question the djinn together with the witch council. I just rolled my eyes a little bit when he calls Stefan.

“His name is Stefan, and maybe you should be the one in secure lockdown. You are a leader and you’re leading the investigation on this leak to humans. What are the odd that they’ll come after you next time.” I tell him not liking that he’s treating me like a glass doll and I wasn’t.

She listens to me and rolls her eyes a little saying his name is Stefan and maybe I should be the one in secure lockdown since I am the leader. Plus I was leading the investigation on this leak to humans and what are the odd that they’ll come after me next time.

"Why do you think they kidnapped you, Azure. They know they can't reach me with all my guard and my own powers. So they went for something that I care about that could be taken away. Trust me they would be idiots to go over me directly." I tell her and sigh seeing that upset look on her face. I draw her to me and hug her tight.

“Alright I admit maybe yesterday was a little bit my fault. I should’ve been able to fend for myself just fine. He looks at me and shrugs a little before he makes a face and crosses his arms. He tells me that he had this talk with Emily and agreed that humans should have access to theses types of spells so he would have his men lurk around.

"Thank you." I say and sigh. "Yes, a prisoner and council of witches who are breathing down my neck over this all. Just let me know if your men here anything."
