Mark | 37 comments I have Jacksonian America: Society, Personality, and Politics by Edward Pessen. It is a 1969 Dorsey books publication 10th printing 1976 edition. I cannot find an ISBN number for it. The LCC is 68-56870. It has a yellow cover with a small portrait of Jackson and couple of drawings of a town on the cover. If any one can help supply the needed Information and add it to the book list I would be appreciative.

Melaslithos | 1360 comments Actually, found it on Amazon, currently adding it.

EDIT: Here it is:

I picked the cover from the 1970 edition based on your description, hope it's the same for yours.

Koenraad (koenraadkelemen) | 6993 comments I found and added this pre-ISBN edition. Maybe it's the one you're looking for?

We use ASIN's for Kindle editions, never for paperbacks. The ASIN you used is from an used book that is resold via Amazon but it is not a Kindle edition.
See: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I merged the records.

Melaslithos | 1360 comments Hi,

I didn't know about the ASIN, but OK, I'll remember it for next time.

Concerning the merging, based on Amazon (not sure it's the best of sources, but that's all I have), there are about a dozens of editions for this book. There was one published almost every year starting from 1969, all named differently. There a 9th printing, a 10th printing, etc.

So I am not sure these books should have been merged.

The one I picked was the 1976, 10th printing as mentionned by Jack, which is not here anymore.
Here it is on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Jacksonian-Amer...

Actually, I suppose that if we want to be really thorough, we should add all those editions? Or are they considered the same, and we shouldn't do it?
