Building a useful Reading List resource

On my blog - and for once I won’t self-advertise, lol - I have a ‘bookshelf’ page, which lists the Shakespeare/EMP-related works I’ve read.

You really don’t need to visit it, but I’ve put out a plea to my students, and generally, about how to improve what is currently, essentially, an alphabetical list of authors and the books I’ve read, with a star rating and a two-sentence summary of how I found the work.

It’s not supposed to be a vanity project, but a helpful resource to curate, signpost and encourage those who want to ‘read round’ but feel daunted by the prospect.

What would you want to see in such a resource? How could I make it as helpful as possible?
