Christelle | 1166 comments Hi guys,

Could you please fix the page number of this book with ISBN 9780140124996?
It should have 253 pages.

From page 254 to 260: it has "Read more in Penguin" (advertising).

Thank you in advance ;-)

User with book in hand trumps publisher and Amazon; page count set to 253.

Thank you for your help. I do have the book in my hands ;-)

Kakha (kakha_k) | 125 comments You are both right but maybe you simply forget that I did not know that she was holding a book in her hands.

Although you seem to be all right, because I had to guess by her sentence: "From page 254 to 260: it has" Read more in Penguin "(advertising)."

I apologize.

No worries! It never hurts to ask if the user has the book in hand when initially responding to the request if you're not sure. If not, Worldcat generally has a more accurate page count in line with GR policy than either the publisher or Amazon (except in the case of Kindle editions or ebooks).

No problem! I understand that it is important to not add errors to the Goodreads catalog. Thank you both for your help!
