They use ASIN. At least, that's the only number I can find if I want to register a book on goodreads. I copy the link of the book, the last part is the ASIN.
They used to list ASINs on the books' pages - and don't anymore. I didn't realize they appeared in the URL - thanks, Specs, that's a help.

I don't think they do, but it seems impossible to get a definitive answer out of them!
I don't think they do.I used to go to the amazon review page of the book, and go from there to the amazon website to see the ASIN. Never found an ISBN there, either.
When I discovered by accident Audible had the ASIN in the link, I never visit Amazon anymore. Just checked and they also still don't have an ISBN. You could try contacting Amazon, though. Maybe they will reply to your question.

However, if there is a specific book you are interested in, you could try contacting the publisher directly (assuming it wasn't one of Audible's own). For example, I just finished The Eye of the World. From Audible, all I can get is the ASIN B0036NHZ10. But their entry does tell me it was published by Macmillan Audio; by going to Macmillan's website and searching for the title & digital audiobook, I find it has the ISBN 9781593974558.

Is anybody able to provide an answer on this? Attempts to contact Audible directly have gone nowhere!
