Hello! My name is Kati, I'm 25 years old and from country called Finland! I would love to have email or snail mail pals who also like to read books and talk about them. Maybe do some buddy reading or something like that!

I mostly read fantasy, ya and historical fiction (or fiction in general) but also some nonfiction books too. One of my favorite authors is Sir Terry Pratchett!

When I'm not reading, I like to play video/pc games, watch movies, study languages (learning Japanese at the moment), go to concerts, go hiking...I also love tea, eerie and mysterious things, witchy things, folklore, tattoos, animals (especially foxes), nature, photographing...list goes on and on!

I'm looking for pen pals that are close to my age (22-29). For a snail mail preferably from Europe (as postage costs pretty much here when sending further than that) but I think 1-2 penpals wouldn't be a problem if not from Europe :) Email penpals are welcome from anywhere!

I just posted in the 30-Something forum, but I wanted to post here, too, just in case people don't get over that way.

I'm female, 39, living in Ohio USA. I love science fiction, fantasy, psychological thrillers, Japanese fiction, manga, age-of-sail fiction, and Victorian literature. Also enjoy a variety of non-fiction books--just depends on my mood and interests at any given time.

Other than that, I love cats, tea, watercolor painting, drawing, fountain pens, journaling, Korean food, watching movies and TV (same genres as my book reading apply), playing my Switch (Hollow Knight is my fave, but I'm currently playing Animal Crossing), and quilting.

Used to be a professional editor but now I'm getting into software development. I'd love to talk tech with a pen pal if any are into that, as well, either professionally or as a hobby.

English is my native language, but I could limp along in Spanish if anyone wanted to do a language exchange. Sadly, I'm not sure my Japanese is up to snuff for written communication, but if anyone else is learning, I'd be happy to learn with you.
