Lily (joy1) | 27 comments The book whose title I am seeking is set largely in a Scandinavian prison, Sweden, I believe. As I recall, it involved weapons being secreted inside. The end definitely had a blow-up. The book was one Barnes and Noble provided in about the 2007-10 time frame on an early readers program. As I recall, two authors may have teamed to write this book. My paperback had a predominantly orange cover, I believe representing the ending shoot-out. There were complicated movements within the prison -- and also machinations about infiltrating it from the outside -- ?? my recollection goes hazy. I'm not sure what I would reconstruct is the actual story.

This has been bugging me for several weeks as the Popsugar program has featured Scandinavian Noir. I haven't recognized the authors names for certain on the lists I have seen, but that may be my next tack if one of you doesn't save me the time. I believe the name of at least one of the authors began with H, but that's not a "for sure"!

Thanks for whatever help/clues!

Thank you, Annamariah! I thought I had selected notify me when people comment. Either I missed it or ...

Anyway, so glad I checked back. You nailed it. (And, I am chagrined to add, it is in my "read" list of books and I even wrote a short review which indicates I read it in April, 2011.)

Thanks again!
